This is a fantastic cover of the 1970s Bob Seger song by Metallica, I listen to it a lot. This Metallica version is from 1998, the album is called Garage Inc. It's a fabulous song and I love this heavy metal version. A song about a band on the road touring all the time. It's a beautiful melody as well. Another great song by Bob Seger is 'Old Time Rock n Roll' from 1978, it's a banger! Thanks for your reaction Anthony and I'm so glad you enjoyed this song. 😊😊
I've seen them 3 times live and they kicked my ass every time. Bob Seger seen him twice and this song live was incredible. BTW Tuesdays Gone from Metallica is another cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd and it's a banger. Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️ 🙏
You should do Bob Seger Turn the Page. I love Metallica but Bob's version is part of my soul. That powerful to me and my family. Bob Seger is one of the greatest song writers of my generation. His story telling is poignant but uplifting. He has a wonderful way to help us feel vulnerable and free at the same time. A lyrical genius. A true American icon.
Dude, Bob Seger is a beast. Check out..... Old Time Rock n Roll Night Moves Still the Same Fire Lake Like A Rock Roll Me Away Her Strut Ramblin Gamblin Man You'll Accompany Me
Anything Metallica covers is GOLD! They honor the original, but "Metallicize" it and make it their own. They recently played at a tribute to Elton John doing Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding and it was incredible. Never would have thought 30 or even 10 years ago, Metallica would be covering and performing for Sir Elton (who loves Metallica and have given them major flowers). You would have to listen to Elton's version to appreciate Met's version - Elton's song is a multi-instrument extravaganza with major piano parts (obviously... since it is Elton) but with 4 musicians and zero piano, they brought this track to life. If you want to walk on the wild side, try their cover of The Misfits or So What by the Anti-Nowhere League - I love watching people react to those because the lyrics are... well kinda inappropriate lol.
As a professional guitarist, I got my chops by playing Metallica and then a guitar virtuoso whom taught me for six years. There is nothing like listening to an amazing instrument and then being able to do it. Shout out to my instrument players 🤘
Turn the Page is a favourite song of mine, whether it's the 1971 original by Bob Seger, the 1974 cover by Jon English or Metallica's cover. Just an awesome song all round.
The 70s and 80s were the best decades for music! I was born in 1969 so I grew up with both of those decades of music. Metallica is my absolute favorite. I love me some pat benetar though!
I love Metallicas covers of songs! They keep them close to the originals. I love that they pay tribute to artists that have inspired them even though they are huge themselves. For a band as big as Metallica to just come out with album that is all cover songs shows just how much they love music and respect the bands from their youth.

I agree with you. Some of Metallica is really good. Some of their stuff is too heavy for my taste. They did a good cover of this song. But to someone who loves Seger as much as me, I can say I appreciate they are helping to keep his music alive. Personally, I prefer Seger's voice and sound. If you haven't heard Seger, would definitely recommend you check him out either this song or Like A Rock. I think you will really like Seger's vocals.
I'm a big Metallica fan...you need to go down the Bob Seger rabbit hole...awesome vocalist and songwriter. Check out his version of this song. Seger is nothing like Metallica which is why this cover is so good. Metallica actually has a lot of covers in their discography. I suggest you check out their cover of Diamondhead's "Am i evil?"

Turn the page was also covered by Aussie singer Jon English in 1974. Another great cover
Love that disc set. Whiskey in a jar, and astronomy of stars 😍 my favorites.

When I was lucky enough they played for 4 hours! We were all late for work!
Metallica is my life. I adore this band. They speak to me and are just always there for me... Music is universal and Metallica are one of the best.
The official Metallica video makes some people cry
Yeah, the video is amazing.
It’s a twist on the rock star life.

It's a great song
Dio has some other great bangers on par with Holy Diver:
"Last in Line" "Rainbow in the Dark" "Hide in the Rainbow" "All the Fools Sailed Away"

I highly recommend the official video for this song. It adds a whole new layer of profundity to it. Really.
Damn Bob just died. Keep you rocking in rock paradise! 🤘
This is misinformation, according to google, Bob Seger is still alive as at October 2024.

This is a Bob Segar cover. They did it right. You either love metal or you don't. To each his own.

You must react to 'Low Man's Lyric' by Metallica.
This is a really good cover...but, along with all the other Bob Seger songs mentioned, check out We've Got Tonight.
This could be as good as your “Blue on Black “ reaction with Kenny Wayne Sheppard.
🤘

Do Shinedown's cover of Simple Man
You gotta react to SEVENDUST.
❤🔥🔥❤
And since he liked this 1. Put him in front of Metallica's cover of Tuesdays Gone by Lynyrd Skynard.
Bob seger song
Good cover but not as good as Bob’s.
Dave Mustaine's voice is an acquired taste.
Somehow I got unsubscribed
Holy Diver original was better
retourne à table, et finis ta salade. stp
Metallica did the song justice but let's face it, it ain't Bob Seager.
