The end was the least scary part. I say the segments before and with the doctor are by far the scariest. It's also more interesting in the first half when you hide more and are more scared of the patients. However, it's fun in the second half when you get more gutsy and start running around the patients all the time. It's amazing the main character survives so much.
I was upset when they killed him. I'm pretty sure we all had hope of him actually getting out. But they killed him because that evil spirit possessed him. I hope they find the camcorder.

Ok. So I heard about this game from a friend at work, and I really wanted to play it, but don't have the system to play it on TT~TT. So I decided to watch your walk through with my room mate and her brother. We stayed up till two in the morning watching it and I haven't laughed so hard while being so scared in my life. It kinda makes sense in a way. The dood in the wheelchair asks you to kill Billy (who is the host for the walrider) so he can escape. Then the dood you play as becomes the new host and tries to get out. Then the dood in the wheelchair has people kill you because you have recorded things he doesn't want anyone to see. Then after you're dead the walrider comes out and kills everyone there. :D What a happy ending.

It's a great ending, really. Earlier you hear the wheelchair guy say something like "Only someone who has truly experienced extreme horror can become the wallrider" and so, of course, you become the wallrider since you experience so much horror throughout the game :) it's really cool!
I know this series is nearly 2 years old now but damn Brad you didn't document a damn thing brotha! The main purpose of you even going in the asylum was to get video footage & retrieve files proving the wrongdoing at the place. That's the primary function of your camera secondary is the night vision used to help navigate dark areas. If you ever play this game again for no reason be sure to basically use the camera the whole time so you can get all the notes bro.
I played with the Camera on (like it was the default view) soon as I got out the vehicle from the beginning. Didn't miss any notes ^just as the guy above my comment said.

There's a DLC follow up. Pay extra attention throughout the whole game, then this will all make MUCH more sense. Seriously though, very well written game. You can tell the creators outdid themselves.

I binge-watched this while waiting for a package to arrive....I'm still waiting for this package, but I was thoroughly entertained - especially every time Brad said anything along the lines of "everything's gonna be fine". Because that was the precursor to Brad getting treated like a used paper bag.
The walrider lived through billy so when you killed billy the walrider beat you but then possessed you so he could still live. When you tried to leave, the military from murkoff killed you because you became the new host for the walrider. No one knows for sure what happened after you die or even if you did die but my guess is that after you get shot the walrider comes out and kills everyone who killed you based on the gun shot noises at the end. This was by far a great horror game, I really could've wished for a better ending tho but overall Brad played it really well :)
If it were me, and something DID compel me to actually go in there.... I would have just taken a large piece of debris that I could probably find within ten feet of wherever I happen to be standing, break a window, use more debris to fashion a makeshift rope or pole in necessary, and jump out. Game over, I win.
the moment when you first thought that it was over by telling that the elevator would go to the lobby floor, and your heart that is beating beyond normal levels just stops because you keep on going to the lower levels.
Finally finished this. It took me 3 times to get through it as my internet crapped out and then we had the Cyclonebomb or whatever they were calling it and the power went out when I was 20 minutes in. Pretty good series so far. I enjoyed Outlast 2 a well. Whistleblower is up next!!

In case anyone didn't understand, The Walrider, takes control of Miles's body, and Dr. Wernicke (the guy in the wheechair) says "Gott in Himmel" (Latin for God in Heaven) You have become the host! therefore the soldiers try to kill you, thinking that by killing you they also eliminate the Walrider. With that not working out, with the proper volume level, you can hear the soldiers screaming "What is that thing?!" and gunshots as the screen fades to black. (Also, skip to 39:53 if you want to see The Walrider becoming Miles's host.) In Outlast Whistleblower's ending, as you are exiting the building, as Waylon is entering Miles's parked and abandoned car at Mount Massive Asylum's entrance, he looks at the Asylum's entrance, and you can see The Walrider, looking like Miles, having himself adapted to his body, looking at you, and charging at you, as nanonites surround the car, as you are leaving, causing it to fail 1-2 times, before you drive off the Asylum. All of that suggesting, that Waylon Park, and Miles, were on the Asylum at the same time, (just one example, remember when Father Martin asked the other guys, to immolate him? and afterwards, you see a whole room on fire? at Outlast Whistleblower, you can see Waylon, looking at the church where Father Martin was, catching on fire as well, right before he reaches the Main Hall.) This was a quick explanation for those who didnt get it
It will be awsome to see it like either your wall rider or your another mindless detective trying to get killed or the wall rider (I think that's what he became when he died) will show you mercy and help you or you are another wall rider so many thoughts but hey they could all be wrong

I know this series is nearly 2 years old now but damn Brad you didn't document a damn thing brotha! The main purpose of you even going in the asylum was to get video footage & retrieve files proving the wrongdoing at the place. That's the primary function of your camera secondary is the night vision used to help navigate dark areas. If you ever play this game again for no reason be sure to basically use the camera the whole time so you can get all the notes bro.

I played with the Camera on (like it was the default view) soon as I got out the vehicle from the beginning. Didn't miss any notes ^just as the guy above my comment said.
That minute from 29 until 30 had me laughing more than it should. Brad is super funny while being chased. Really enjoyed this walkthrough.

There's a DLC follow up. Pay extra attention throughout the whole game, then this will all make MUCH more sense. Seriously though, very well written game. You can tell the creators outdid themselves.

I planned on just watching the first one to have an idea if I would like the game. I ended up watching the whole series in one night. You are hilarious man. Better than a Netflix binge. Will be watching another playlist of your soon. Stay awesome!

I binge-watched this while waiting for a package to arrive....I'm still waiting for this package, but I was thoroughly entertained - especially every time Brad said anything along the lines of "everything's gonna be fine". Because that was the precursor to Brad getting treated like a used paper bag.

The walrider lived through billy so when you killed billy the walrider beat you but then possessed you so he could still live. When you tried to leave, the military from murkoff killed you because you became the new host for the walrider. No one knows for sure what happened after you die or even if you did die but my guess is that after you get shot the walrider comes out and kills everyone who killed you based on the gun shot noises at the end. This was by far a great horror game, I really could've wished for a better ending tho but overall Brad played it really well :)

I would have just taken a large piece of debris that I could probably find within ten feet of wherever I happen to be standing, break a window, use more debris to fashion a makeshift rope or pole in necessary, and jump out.

the moment when you first thought that it was over by telling that the elevator would go to the lobby floor, and your heart that is beating beyond normal levels just stops because you keep on going to the lower levels.
Finally finished this. It took me 3 times to get through it as my internet crapped out and then we had the Cyclonebomb or whatever they were calling it and the power went out when I was 20 minutes in. Pretty good series so far. I enjoyed Outlast 2 a well. Whistleblower is up next!!

In case anyone didn't understand, The Walrider, takes control of Miles's body, and Dr. Wernicke (the guy in the wheechair) says "Gott in Himmel" (Latin for God in Heaven) You have become the host! therefore the soldiers try to kill you, thinking that by killing you they also eliminate the Walrider. With that not working out, with the proper volume level, you can hear the soldiers screaming "What is that thing?!" and gunshots as the screen fades to black.
(Also, skip to 39:53 if you want to see The Walrider becoming Miles's host.)
In Outlast Whistleblower's ending, as you are exiting the building, as Waylon is entering Miles's parked and abandoned car at Mount Massive Asylum's entrance, he looks at the Asylum's entrance, and you can see The Walrider, looking like Miles, having himself adapted to his body, looking at you, and charging at you, as nanonites surround the car, as you are leaving, causing it to fail 1-2 times, before you drive off the Asylum. All of that suggesting, that Waylon Park, and Miles, were on the Asylum at the same time, (just one example, remember when Father Martin asked the other guys, to immolate him? and afterwards, you see a whole room on fire? at Outlast Whistleblower, you can see Waylon, looking at the church where Father Martin was, catching on fire as well, right before he reaches the Main Hall.) This was a quick explanation for those who didnt get it
