    I typed in loop choke in the search and was planning on binge watching a gang of videos on the loop choke, but I feel like I just watched the only one I need lol

    This is a weird compliment but this is some of the best audio on any BJJ instructional vid. No room noise and clear, resonant speaking. Great content as well!

    best loop choke instruction. Been doing bjj 12 years and watched many instructional and this is the only one which explains the rules and mechanics of why it works. Thank you

    After watching several videos I knew generally how to do this choke but none showed these small critical tips. I feel much more confident I'll be able to hit this now. Thank you.

    1. Grip collar loose, in line with collar bone
    2. Your head has to be higher than his head
    3. Move his head towards choking hand (think of a choke as a guillotine)

      @@resheeraj9181 Hey, yes I'm still training. It's difficult with COVID right now. I'm a blue belt, had a few competitions but not keen on them. The adrenalin dump is horrible. I've had some time off here and there but still training.

    • Align the forefinger of your cross collar grip with their collarbone.

    Awesome instructions, i always try the loop choke but its difficult to trap them there, but treating the Loop choke as a guillotine setup, its the key. BOOM, thanks, i like your videos.

    Good stuff, I've been really wanting to add this to my arsenal, I've tried it a few times, but I think I telegraph it too much. I have been able to take the back from the grip though, when they go to defend, but I want to finish the choke. Thanks for the instruction!

      Me again, I'm element 392 just using my other account. Been hitting this for the past six years. When I go to tournaments people know me as the loop choke guy. I also evolved this so much that I can hit it from closed guard and bottom side control. I also have incorporated my legs to block the body from escaping and reinforcing the head from popping ba k up. Can you please do a part two that digs deeper into this? Thanks in advance, AL Ghuneim
