  • 📣 Learn more about our 21-Day Yoga Challenge - www.yogachallenge.in/syt 🧘🏼‍♀️ I remember, during my cancer treatment, I used to live on coconut water and bananas for days and even though I was getting chemo and it was excruciatingly painful, my skin was getting clearer by the day. 🪞
    This was because I cut out all processed foods, sugar, dairy, and junk food from my diet. 🍕🍔🥛🍩
    At the time I lived on fruits, vegetables, coconut water and simple protein like daal. This is one thing that I swear by! 🍉🍅🥥
    Secondly, when I went for my Yoga course to Mysore, my Ayurveda teacher opened my eyes about chemicals in soaps, shampoos and creams. 🧼🧴
    Many of these are filled with carcinogens and can get into our blood stream dirtying the internal environment of the body. That’s when I switched completely to natural skincare. I now use oils like almond oil, coconut oil as moisturiser and buy organic soaps and shampoos. 🌱
    Yes, they don’t make my hair smooth and shiny but have accepted my curly frizzy hair and now I honestly love the way they look 👩🏽‍🦱
    The most important thing is to be stress free and emotionally stable. The more we judge ourselves and others, the more resentment we carry in our hearts, the worse our health becomes, skin and all including! 🖤
    So find opportunities to de-stress regularly. Take walks in nature, sunbathe, swim, write a journal, build loving connections and practice gratitude. 🌴☀️🏊📝

    The best way to keep your skin healthy is by keeping yourself hydrated. I realized it myself that whenever i eat fresh fruits, salads and especially by drinking more water my skin and lips naturally becomes radiant and plumpy😊

    Proper hydration is very helpful. Sometimes , I apply raw milk with cotton on my face. And wash with tap water after 5 min. And it's magic..

    I mixed aloe vera and rose water and made primer . It was like a life changing DIY in my life , after using this for a month, my skin was like Korean glass skin . You can try this for yourself and have your glass skin without any Korean products or expensive products ❤❤

    I think she’s right i recently started my post pregnancy weight loss journey and i am not taking any fried or processed food neither sugar nor even a pinch of sugar and i can clearly see difference it’s been week only but made a huge difference
    Also i started doing exercise
    I have noticed this in the past as well whenever i follow these tips for me exercises no sugar and no junk food I see huge difference in my skin

    I literally don't apply anything...I am so lethargic when it comes to skincare.. I don't even apply makeup... Not because I don't like it, it's because I am pretty lazy about all these.. My mother always says look at the other girls of your age.. But I really don't care... All these things make burden on me... So I just don't... I chose to be simple and happy

    Wild turmeric mixed in raw milk paste for face wash....
    Glycerine, rosewater and Aloe vera gel in equal parts for mosturiser...
    Only at night ...

    Mix one tablespoon of aloe Vera gel + one vitamin e capsule . Mix it well and add one tea spoon of rose water . Mix well and apply daily before go to bed. Wash with Luke warm water in the morning . All blemishes and dark spots will become very light and skin will be rejuvenated. No side effects .

      @@dinhaisunnysunnythat’s because the vitamin e is not bioavailable. It’s only going to put more occlusive on your skin, might clog pores. Use retinol and niacinamide, or even Kojic acid, azelaic acid. Don’t fall for the “harsh chemicals” spiel. It’s bs

    The best way to keep our skin clean is to take some basen, curd and a pinch of turmeric and mix it we can apply it for 15 min or wash it directly after scrubbing . And thanku for the tip😊

    Try this-
    1. Mix besan,rice flour and a pinch of turmeric - use it as a facewash
    2. use everyday rice water to do facewash instead of regular water
    3. Apply coconut oil/ghee on your skin as moisturizer
    4. Use besan instead of soap
    5. Use betroot for adding tint instead of chemical tints
    6. Applying coconut oil will increase the volume of eyelashes
    7. Make kajal n mascara using Almond by burning it.
    Note- it is all tried n tested on myself and has changed my skin drastically

      Good diys. But one question. Is Besan convenient to have bath everyday? It usually requires alot more time than usual bath as it takes time to spread it across the body with no much lather.

      Well coconut oil can clog the pores and make acne prone skin more problematic so its kinda not good idea to put it on…… on the other hand besan and rice flour is natural exfoliating thing so it should not be used on skin in regular basis I blv!!! Natural things r good ofc but it should be used in a proper way u know…. But rice water for everyday use is a good idea ❤

    I make this facemask which gives me bright skin and very smooth... Reduced darkness and nourished my skin.... It follows accordingly:
    Rice flour
    Rose water
    Aloe vera gel(packaged)
    Little bit of honey
    I put this face pack twice a week and it made skin whiter and smoother

    Nowadays I don't know why but all my mouth is wanting only spicy food and saying no to sweet foods , all day I am expecting only spicy food , I am eating meals just for my parents sake even though they aren't spicy ..

    I always had a very clear skin
    But once i had breakouts all over my skin and my mother mixed some grinded turmeric and mixed with coconut oil and put it in a spoon and kept above the flame
    And the turmeric got darkened to a charcoal form and she insisted me to put it on my face
    Even though i didn't like the texture
    But trust me ,after some days all my pimples and blemishes got disapper
    Still i use it whenever i gets a pimple

    I make my own lip scrub and it makes my lips so smooth. Vanilla extract, sugar, vaseline, optional honey. It's vanilla flavored btw

    I agree with diet changes she suggested 💯 I started this type of diet in July because of my pcos issue and at that time my face was full of acne and dark spots. By the beginning of September my acne was gone, any dark spots faded and right now in January my face is free of any kind of acne or spots. Cutting those food is good for our body in every possible way. However I don't agree with her skin care totally. Depending on your skin type, pollution and weather please use a mild face wash if you leave the house, use good moisturizer. Makeup is preference and nobody wears foundation everyday on a daily basis except their work demands so.

      @@hunny585 instead of quitting, start reducing the quantity. Sugar up to 3-5 teaspoon per day is okay. So instead of two, take one for a month; and slowly reduce. It's not about a month or year. It's about rest of your life. At the end, its all about your health need, will and discipline.

    Sweet almond oil for skin... castor oil and coconut oil for hair...soapnuts for shampoo and Chickpea flour (besan), coffee grounds and yoghurt for body scrub&wash...
    My skin feels like it is healthy 😊

    I make skin syrum for me and my kids .... Made by mixing grapeseed oil, lil bit of coconut oil, some essential oils.,..., best then all branded products.,... Make ny own hair conditioner with mixing honey, coconut oil and lime juice........list is endless

    I tried for 3 months. No fried foods, No outside food, No packaged foods, No sugar, No beverages, No makeup, No deficiencies. Yes balanced meal, yes nuts, yes vegetables, yes hydrated,yes exercise everyday, yes sunscreen. Still I have acne. So for every person some things don't work but it's then we need to use chemicals to control some types of acne by consulting dermatologist. Don't get disheartened

      It takes time for the toxins that the body has accumulated to surface. After 3 months, you've nearly expelled everything. Make sure to drink extra water too. I'm sure you are beautiful, regardless of how you feel. All the best to you.

    1)Flaxseed mask for hair
    2)shikakai and hibiscus powder for shampoo
    3) besan as a cleanser
    4) raw honey
    These are some of the best things to use for hair n face.❤

    You are right, I have oily skin so I don't eat any sugary or fatty food. now my face is glow not oil skin. My mother will ask me if your facial oil is oil but it is not oil but glow😊

    The best diy to exfoliate your face is using besan, hldi and milk.. I am using it since a year it gives a glow and soft skin.. Also, it doesn't cause any reaction even on highly sensitive skin like mine.

    my favourite homemade diy skincare product is rice flour mask. It is pretty easy to make just add 2 tsp of rice flour, few drops of rose water, 4 drops of castor oil and a pinch of turmeric. Prepare a thick paste and apply it on your face and let it rest for 25-30 minutes. It helps in brightening your skin as well as nourishing it.

    Gommage maison nourrissant (pour visage, mains, ongles, lèvres...) :
    1 cuillère à café de chaque ingrédient (bio évidemment):
    - jus de citron fraîchement pressé
    - miel un peu solide
    - huile (c'est plus facile si elle est un peu solide comme l'huile de coco)
    - et....un peu de sucre en poudre (on peut prendre du sucre complet, le tout est que les grains ne soient pas trop fins sinon ça fond sur la peau 😊)
    Mettre le tout dans un petit pot en verre bien propre.
    Prendre une petite quantité et masser doucement sur peau humide (eau, eau florale...)
    Si on ne veut pas gommer, on enlève le sucre, c'est très agréable aussi ! L'inconvénient, c'est que si on l'utilise sur les lèvres, on peut le manger au fur et à mesure 😂

    Try this :-
    Take some gram flour (besan) and some water make a paste
    (not too much thick not too much thin )
    and then apply it on your face
    ( don’t leave it for a long time ) by scrub for few minutes wash face with water .

    Yes Maine 4-6 mahine tak suger ki chize nahi khayi thi ( ice cream, cake, sweets , chocolates 🍫) meri skin etni clear kabhi bhi nhi Hui thi jo keval sugar chhodne se hui..👍👍👍

    I use as face pack turmeric lemon and curd mix well than apply it to your face and wait for 20 minutes then you have smooth skin like me💜❤
