Also, Trash Panda is coming out with a new disc called the Extraterrestrial II, which has a rim that is thicker on one side and thinner on the other, similar to the aerobie epic!
As usual, an awesome video! I threw rubber discs exclusively for over a year at courses around northeast Ohio. In fact, I still frequently throw the Alpas, Interceptor, and Binx. Takeaways: 1. OG Elevation discs (especially the Interceptor) fly into the ground if you rip them. I think it's because air resistance causes the flexible rim to bend downwards. 2. Once you learn to throw a Binx it is very easy to throw it nose down, even if you don't pour the coffee. This too might be a function of the rim bending only slightly when you take it easy. Great for beginners. 3. The Alpas is a very reliable backhand roller disc. Plus it has a lot of glide. 4. The Binx will fly over 300 ft if you throw easy and smooth. 5. The OG Interceptor is best (for me) as a
Glad to have made it into the video! Great stuff! I actually added three weirdos into my collection yesterday and the weather actually allowed me to take a couple of rounds with them too: 1) MVP Neutron Relativity - 14,5/6/-3/2. As I expected, despite it being way out of my league, it's high turn and glide make it a workable, overstable driver for me. Good for the wind. Least weird disc of the batch. 2) Innova Mamba - 11/6/-5/1.That's a NEGATIVE FIVE turn! Oddly enough it doesn't seem to turn at all for me. Yet my Shryke turns for me and that's a 13 speed disk with -2 turn from the same manufacturer. I'm rather disappointed, but at least It flies pretty nice for me so it's not a total loss. 3) Latitude 64 Zero Gravity 9/7/-2/2. These Zero Gravity disks are super fun for a low arm speed guy like me. At only 130 grams, this thing really flies and glides! Would be fun to see what these Zero Gs do when Caleb lets them rip.
I love the Mamba-my go-to distance driver! I have it in both Star and DX plastic; the Star fades quite a bit-it’s Overstable, not understable! I’ve been able to go around trees from right to left using it, and it’s really weird how it does that
@@Jim3Mix Yeah, I need to give it more tries. So far I've only thrown it flat but I may be able to make it flip up on hyzer. Mine is in Champion plastic. I'm getting good distance with it at least and I'm curious to see how it's going to fly for me in the coming rounds.
@@Alliat6364Premium plastics like Champion and Star tend to be Overstable, and base(er) plastics, like GStar and DX, tend to be understable. Among the discs I have bought, regardless of manufacturer, that is generally true. It’s a better metric than flight numbers; Greg said this in a couple of videos last year, and I realized he was right.
I got the NSH Borg, which is similar to the apocalypse, and hurts my thumb just as much. But they have a handful of weird ones you could review! Like the Mr. Putt, Stacks, 8472, Borg, Sector G7R10, Sector G1R1, Sweed, to name the most odd ones.
Thanks for putting my Binx throw on the video! I also throw the Psychic and Binx for distance and the Koi for putt and approach (I also just bought the new Nimbus). Yes, these are weird discs compared to plastic models, and I can’t explain why they work for me. I use them all the time and have had good success, overall. I bag at least one every round.
Fun episode! I bag a Koi, but not as a long throwing putter. It’s great for shorter shots where you want it to stop on a dime and it prevents rollaways.
Innova, Lone Star and Doomsday always seem to ship discs with some type of tape on them, I'm told that its to keep them from getting suctioned together, haven't seen it from other companies, but I neglected to remove them, must be habit because all of the ones we have in stock still have tape too.
I have landmine in my bag. Last year after your doomzdaydiscs video I did get one and actualy I liked it very much for some time I used it as putter. But then at one moment I had a feeling that sometimes it feels a bit to light. So I went back to Pure. And after your 10 000 putt video I decided I will make something similar. I have 10 different putters at home. So I wanted to know which works better for me. I throw form 10 meters. My average hit % after 1800 puts is 23.9% 3rd place is Aviar with 26.7% 2nd place is Landmine 28.3% 1st place is Vikingdisc Rune 29.4%. these 3 discs change places after every putting session. My main putter I use is pure and it is only 22.7% So it is very possible that landmine will be back in my bag full time.
I bag the Oddgrip G1. I liked it so much, I reached out, and the owner sent me a second one. I'm not sure if they are going to run anymore, but I'd be willing to drive mine up there to you guys to review. You're a short drive away!! Sick patches and jerseys, btw!!!
Prodiscus Troija mentioned, I will suggest it too. Of course you must demo Aerobie Epic and Arrow, and then there's e.g. DGA Blunt Gumbputt. And Discmania Magician (Glow) is hilarious.
Have a Bunker Buster in my bag. It always gets everyone's attention when I pull it out. It has earned the nickname "Dinner plate" with my regular group.
They are not quite as weird as these but I'm curious how the Discmania Flex 1 C-line discs compare to normal C-line. They are supposed to be very soft, flexible and grippy. Not quite rubber discs though.
The weirdest disc in my bag would be the Neon, if I can ever my kickstarter order delivered. It’s a reminder to me that it hasn’t arrived whenever you demonstrate it in your content. Argh. Beyond that, the weirdest disc is probably the Lat 64 Sinus. The three thumb grip patches on it are quite interesting.
@@SixSidedDiscs I got my Neon and Titanium today. Finally. After having to pay a duty fee on them. Argh. (I’m looking forward to throwing both. And the Xenon I ordered on the side). I am looking forward to testing the Titanium against the Westside Seer as they have the same flight numbers (don’t matter). I am curious as to how the Neon will compare against the Justice and Järn. Again thank you for the content.
VIDEO IDEA : as a beginner youre gonna need to throw around a tree alot. the anvil is great if not the best disc for throwing after being stuck behind a tree. or a paradox for backhand if you dont have space for a forehand, i find these specialty discs are very important until you get good.
There is an app we use called AceTrace. We pay for the full version because we use it for every video. It can be buggy but with some persistence, it works.
I work in a kitchen, and every time i finish a container of sour cream, i fling that lid at the trash can. Its so accurate, it needs to be pdga approved
Nice t-shirt. Nice colors.amd graphics. But for me, a V-neck for comfort (not feeling it on the front of my neck) and under $20. No t-shirt should cost $50. It's a t-shirt, not a dress shirt. Unless it's to raise funds for drones for Ukraine or something like that.

My buddy that passed away used to tear it up with a DGA Gumbputt. I've witnessed so many bizarre made putts and throw-ins with those things.
R.i.p to your buddy.
Go for a round to honour them.
I have a Kastaplast Rask and a Loft Bohrium and I love em both.
You should try them out too
Bohrium is a nice disc ❤️
I actually really like the rask. Great get outta jail disc. And later runs aren't just meat hooks.
NSH custom discs has some interesting 3D printed discs.

I bag a koi and I highly reccomend trying it, good approach understable putter and really good for putting on hills bc the rollaway is rare
check out the T-bone if you can get one. has golf ball dimples on the rim.
Fun episode! I bag a Koi, but not as a long throwing putter. It’s great for shorter shots where you want it to stop on a dime and it prevents rollaways.
Whats up with the tape on the discs? Do you need to have it upfront?

Ooo ok, I had to google this again, but I do remember hearing about it when it came out I think. How does it fly? It is definitely unique!
Yikun Claws

I will watch anything that includes my beloved Doomsday.
Have a Bunker Buster in my bag. It always gets everyone's attention when I pull it out. It has earned the nickname "Dinner plate" with my regular group.
I am so getting me one of them Jersey so sick
Btw,it would be awesome if you test all super beefy approach discs. Troija, crossbow, zone os,deflector and maybe something else
I still throw a DKG Miracle, the bottom of the rim is curved, not squared. I have to throw it almost vertical, it's that understable
i have a yikun QI in dragon plastik in my bag, that may be the wierdest.

I love the Doomsday WMD, it's controllably flippy! Closest counterpart in my bag is the Westside Disc's King. WMD is the control version of that disc.
The WMD reminds me of my Gateway Ninja, also non-pdga approved.
I'd be really interested to see what the Neon flies like when thrown upside down!
It might fly better upside down, I feel like we meant to test that but didn't...hmm
I like ice cream! I think I’ll try throwing a Breyer’s lid. 😂

I play with a dude that regularly uses an arrow, shaped like a coke bottle cap
Is there any apps for the throw tracer? Or is that all manual work?
There is an app we use called AceTrace. We pay for the full version because we use it for every video. It can be buggy but with some persistence, it works.
Years ago, the Innova Jaguar was 24.1 cm wide. I had it in both 190g and 200g.
Great video, as always!
My weirdest discs is yikun crossbow. Very OS ,great for approaches
I've felt the Crossbow, it feels great, as many of those super beefy approaches do. Cool disc!
What size shirt is Caleb wearing in this video? I need a physical reference for sizing. 😅
I believe he has an XL, I think the only reason he needed XL is because he's like 6'2" maybe 6'3", so he needs that extra length.
I bag an aerobie arrow
baobob
Video idea: Halo does it make discs fly fathers or the same? What does it even do?! Why are my halos more flippy. Gahhh
More dome on them makes them more flippy , also halo plastic is sturdy and strong.
I would say if you can throw a good flex line with a overstable halo, you’ll get great distancez
Weirdest disc that has a spot in my bag is a quest backbone. Flat as a board and roundest rim in the game.
I want to see how a neon flies with a tomahawk or thumber
I work in a kitchen, and every time i finish a container of sour cream, i fling that lid at the trash can. Its so accurate, it needs to be pdga approved
Ooo love this, what flight numbers would you give it?
@@SixSidedDiscs 2/7/-1/1
Stego is a weird disc for sure. I don't think it's possible to throw it 150 feet.
The rubber discs make Caleb mad because he brute forces discs instead of having good form. Premium plastics can barely hold up to that swing plane

Same reviews of the same discs.
