I made the curried quinoa today, but used what I had so celery in place of carrots and peanuts in place of almonds. No raisins and I forgot the parsley, peas, garlic and lemon. Still it was the best quinoa recipe I've ever made and I'd now consider buying quinoa again etc. Thank you.

Thanks again for the inspiration and your time and effort filming this. And I have a suggestion: add some of the zest of the lemon too. The rest of the zest you can mix with either sugar or salt and store in a jar in the fridge.
When I've tried quinoa I've not enjoyed it but I made the last dish with the red lentils and it was amazing and comforting. I'll be making it again. Love how it's pretty cheap to make too yet full of goodness!

Lovely vegan recipes. Love all these three dishes I could incorporate them in my current diet (CKD & TYPE 2 DIABETES). I was using quinoa before but didn't like the taste much; I'm going to try again. I will follow your recipes.
It definitely had a unique flavor and is pretty dull when the liquid is just water. It definitely helps to use it in a very flavorful dish to bring that flavor to it. I love to use it in a veggie-broth based pilaf with onions, carrots, and peas. But also I use it in taboulleh as the grain (chopped up parsley, dill, mint, tomatoes, onions, lemon juice)
This all looks delicious. People like me who are living with heart disease, who follow whole foods plant based SOS free lifestyle only have to omit the oil and salt! Thank you for sharing. I will make them all.

Absolutely delish & a very light dish. I made the curry quinoa, and subbed spinach for parsley and added extra cayenne & some crushed red peppers for more heat. The spices are light & I wish it were more flavorful. I’ll definitely make it again, not sure if I’ll double the cumin, curry & coriander, but I will definitely add more for a stronger flavor.
Thank you, perfect.For me to save time and energy and make it more healthy ,shall put all items in instant pot ,pressure cook for 12 minutes as rice.Shall not fry any item,almonds without brown skin (phytic acid0,nosalt,(enough salts in foods),no raisins ( high sugar load and index),garnish with lemon juice,parsely,1 teasppon organic olive oil.This is first recipe.
Ok, just cooked the last dish, and it was delicious. The only thing I’d say (mostly myself!) Is to pay careful attention to the instructions regarding cooking times and to the changes in temperature under the pan.
Looks delicious very good to have different dishes.to prepare especially on weekends they are simple for brunch or dinner we need a change thanks for sharing my friend ❣️
I'm not sure why you've added raisins to the first two dishes. It seems unnecessary considering that they're not a very good source of protein. Maybe it's personal preference or cultural? Either way the recipes still look very healthy and delicious, especially the last one which I will be trying soon. Thank you for sharing!
All the recipes were great, the last one though...cilantro ..no! Ugh dish soap. The last recipe though is an absolute must try, will use parsley instead. Thank you for the video, great job
I made the first recipe but with eggplant, and potatoes instead of carrots and peas… I also used cilantro instead of parsley, it turned out so good! There’s a million variations you could do with it! Do you offer catering services or have a restaurant cuz I would LOVE to taste your food! ❤

If you want to substitute dried Turkish apricots, they are the same color as the Thompson raisins. They have a dry mango similar taste, quite good 🙂

When I've tried quinoa I've not enjoyed it but I made the last dish with the red lentils and it was amazing and comforting. I'll be making it again. Love how it's pretty cheap to make too yet full of goodness!

The secret to successful quinoa is to rinse it very well, much more than what she is demonstrating. Then you will notice the difference.

With a side salad for a light lunch. You could also pair it with any protein of choice, eg. pan fried tofu or tempeh.
