- Hello friends, nice to see you again on the channel Equator!
Today we will talk about the pharaohs of ancient Egypt. You must agree that there is something mystical, something mysterious in them, which separates the pharaohs from the rulers of our time and even from the kings of the Middle Ages.
The reason is that the pharaoh was not God's anointed: he himself was a god, and that is what makes this figure so mysterious. That's why the images of the pharaohs have more in common with the appearance of a god than with the appearance of mere mortals.
Today we are going to do something special - we are going to bring the statues of the pharaohs of ancient Egypt to life and see what the gods of this mysterious land would look like if they were mere mortals! Кино

Some of the traits are there in the AI, but I really don't think Akhenaten really looked like that at all. @gigi v that really isn't verified for certain. It's just a theory.
@gigi v true. But hasn't Tutankhamun been found to have deformities?
It is necessary to judge the appearance by mummies, and not by statues, since there is minimalism and stylization (it is different for each dynasty)
Also experts believe the majority were obese where the statues and other images are idealized.

Why does AI depict every one of these mummies with perfect facial features?
I have a coworker who's a Coptic Christian Egyptian and they are most likely the descendants of the Pharaonic Egyptians.
Well most of Muslim Egyptians are Coptic as well
Copt means Egyptian. In fact it is the word which "Egypt" is derived from. So there are Muslim as well as Christian Copts in Egypt. For the word Kemet, it is the black soil created around the Nile, and from which the word "chemistry" is derived originally from.
Copt = Egyptian
Kemet = Nile soil of Egypt
Yes this is true, although some Muslims are probably descendants as well if they didn’t mix with Arabs or other races. Another comment is disagreeing with you but there are plenty of resources online that confirm what your coworker said. Coptic Christian’s aren’t allowed to marry people of other faiths including other Christian’s who aren’t the same denomination. So mixing with other races isn’t as easy as the other commenter is making out to be especially since they are a small minority of the population and the surrounding countries are Muslim countries
Your recreation of Tutankhamen is very different from other recreations.

Well done - but why did you reconstruct them with mustaches? These people loathed body and facial hair ... they removed it completely- even the eyebrows were merely painted on ...
Your dates of reign for Seti I are off. Based on the Gebel Barkal stela his reign is (was) thought to have lasted only 11 years, followed by an unexplained premature death, which is why his son Ramesses II took the throne at such a young age and ruled for such an uncommonly long time. Van Dijk has recently shown, however, that damage to the stela led to misinterpreting 3 as 11, which then leaves only one other stela to rely on which says 6. In other words, Seti I died in 1286. In the associated paragraph, following the 11-year model, you've got him listed as 1290-1279, which would be correct if 11 were correct. But up top (under his name) you listed him as 1323-1279 which is a clear error.

Great. Your depiction of the magnificent Ramesses ll is close to all the other likenesses of him that I've seen. I've read in the past on multiple occasions that he was the only Pharoah with natural red hair. Maybe, maybe not?
The man was in his nineties when he died. His hair was naturally silver white at the time of death. However RaMusa used henna like most other Ancient Egyptians which died his silver gray hair reddish brown. Whether he had the genes for natural red hair is debatable.
The Egyptians persecuted redheads because the god seth was redheaded. The natives of North Africa have a certain proportion of redheads:
The Berber peoples of Morocco19 and northern Algeria sometimes have redheaded people among them. Freckles are particularly important among the Kabyles of Algeria, where it reaches up to 4%20,21. Princess Lalla Salma, wife of King Mohammed VI of Morocco, is red-haired. Abd al-Rahman I also had red hair, his mother having been a Christian Berber slave. They are also numerous among the Rifains or “Berbers of northern Morocco”.
It's possible that his hair is due to a recessive gene.

Narmer, which was the first pharaoh, a negro, plain and simple. Joser too, was a negro. Kufu negro. The pyramid builders were damn near all straight African thru in thru. Afros, waves in their hair, braids and dread locks?! Still to this day, we fashion ourselves the same. No argument to be had. So u can take your faulty racist DNA claims and put them u know where

Don’t try to Arabize the pharaohs. They were more brown in complexion like the people of Sudan and the Horn of Africa.
If you want to know how pharaohs looked like go to Egypt and look at the people there
@@abeeshaw It doesn’t need a genius to know that the current population of Egypt is not the same as it was the time of Pharaohs. Tangible historical records prove that the pharaohs weren’t white Arabs.
@@mosessolomon6889 egyptians didnt go nowhere, they are literally in egypt
No they werent.
@@berserk9085 Yes they were. You better swallow your prejudice.
That Was Amazing!
Why does this feel like I'm being lied to... 😆
@2 StarLine yeah kinda like South American Spanish people. Not white nor black. Just somewhere in the middle.
The Djoser statue depicts him with a mustache.
Looks like arabs of now.
Pretty good likenesses. Thanks.
LOL
Ramesses ethnic background is really messed up. He was very blonde, with fair skin and piercing blue eyes. That's why he was called RA-messes the son of Ra, the Sun God.
Can you create an image of Ahmose. from around the 1550BCE
The digital reconstruction is amazing, exquisite. BRAVO! However, green colored eyes were extremely rare during those centuries along the northern coast of Africa, the Nile region all the way to Ethiopia, and the eastern African coast of the Red Sea. They were also rare, but more frequent in southwest Asia, more so in the Arabian peninsula. Green and blue colored eyes were of a more frequent occurrence around the Caucasus and Caspian regions, the Argos and Zagros mountain range in today's Turkey and Iran, including all the way into the Hindu Kush Mountains (Afghanistan) following the Helmand River south into the Sistan Valley (Iran). Egypt had at the time, a very different anthropological phenotypical make-up.
ALSO WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO LIGHTEN THIER SKIN TONES WHEN THEY WERE REALLY DARKER THAN YOU ARE TRYING TO EMPHASIZE. YOU CAN EASILY SEE THAT WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO IS WHITEWASH THE TRUE DEPICTION OF THEM. ALL YOU REALLY HAVE TO DO IS LOOK AT THE ACTUAL STATUES OF THEM AND SEE THAT THIER FEATURES ARE NATURALLY BLACK , MY MOTHER WAS FROM ASWAN EGYPT AND SHE WAS DEFINATLEY NOT WHITE, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LOOK AT THE REAL EVIDENCE.......THE ACTUAL STATUES AND THEY TELL YOU WHAT THEY REALLY LOOKED LIKE !!!!!!!!!!
Stop this bullshit. THEY WERE BLACK AFRICANS.
Fascinating. It’s incredible to try and imagine the level of power the pharaohs held. Now we can put a face to some big names
Love the music!
I think going back to their era they all good looking tall guys
All Caucasian with some with blue eyes living in Egypt. Really.
where did the Egyptians get their blue eyes from?
*I doubt that the Pharaohs looked like Ukrainians or Neo-Nazis. Please try a different App.*
All I can say is wow.
I find it "interesting that the female a1 versions (on this channel) have brown skin and the pharaohs have more pale complexions
Akhenaten ~he is so cute~ 😂😂😘😘
3:19 WTF
lol....with the caucasian skin....that was impossible in that time frame.
Excellent. Please use this technique for the Queens.
