    An Instagram subscriber alerted me to the LONG handle version being available from the UK (but only in 3/8 and 1/2 drive). The brand is "US Pro". Link to 3/8 drive on Ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/US-PRO-3-8-Drive-Long-Twister-Ratchet-Twist-Turn-Socket-Wrench-B4132-/152534805100

    I had the Stanly version years and years ago. (short handle) I've seen the Deen version, but it's short as well. Would be interested in a long neck version for sure.

      Yeah, totally agree... a Deen version in a long handle would be the next logical step up from the one I have.

    Agreed, not much torque for breaking loose but awesome for twisting off/on

    • @chriscas-ToolAficionado
      @chriscas-ToolAficionado  4 года назад +2

      It can be used like a regular ratchet to break free fasteners (this one's about 12" long), but the handle rotates so its a bit weird.

    Stanley (and Bostich, and a few other brands under Stanley’s umbrella) make one, but not in that length. These things are awesome!

    • @chriscas-ToolAficionado
      @chriscas-ToolAficionado  4 года назад +2

      My first rotator ratchet was from Stanley, but those were so bulky and heavy, and the mechanism had a very heavy drag to it. These ones, coming from W-tool, are much smoother and the head is way more compact.
      Good to hear from you. Are you back in the USA?

      @eXiteVideoMagazine 4 года назад +2

      ChrisCas - Tool Aficionado yes, sir! Back in the States. When I bought my first Stanley 3 years ago, it was $20 USD, now they are between $35 and some places were wanting $45.... what happened?!?! Lol. I’ll see if I can find yours somewhere. I just know I need one more 3/8” ratchet. Lol.

      You can stick another ratchet in the back to drive the rotating mechanism.

      @@eXiteVideoMagazine Yes, those are both interesting tools as well. The Proxxon I know has at least been around for 13 years, and was the first kind that I noticed had the female square on the end of the handle. I was inspired by that and actually modified my Stanley one to replicate that feature. I should post it up one day.
      Regarding tool pricing...maybe inflation? Tool prices only go up it seems. Increasing cost of raw materials accounts for that, no doubt. I know the 3/8" long version is available through here: ruclips.net/user/redirect?redir_token=QUFFLUhqa3pzT0JGTlN0Q0lhYWNBbDdTSEJfMEw0OGstUXxBQ3Jtc0ttblJsUWQyTkpaUDc1c1pwVFFPZ3BKUTNIMHlEQlR0amViQUNTYUV1c0tPTXdHRVVjd0lLUGNLM24wOHpjWUFCYklOQ2dXUEVTaFRDX0NqNVNRTzJhTjMtSmNnQzBHUGRWOW9kSmxwdGNZd2d6elFubw%3D%3D&stzid=Ugy5A2KNWKEMSsubn-F4AaABAg&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FUS-PRO-3-8-Drive-Long-Twister-Ratchet-Twist-Turn-Socket-Wrench-B4132-%2F152534805100&event=comments
