I thought this was a 10million viewed video by how high quality the playing was but then I got surprised that it's only 47k???? Man, GIVE THIS MAN SOME MORE VIEWS, THE PERFORMANCE WAS INCREDIBLE!
@@austinsavage4390 they were correcting your grammar, saying you should have said "interpretation" (singular) instead of "interpretations" (plural). If you had said "one of the greatest" instead of just "the greatest" then the plural form would be correct instead.
this is really clean!! this etude is really difficult, but even more so to play it really clean and at a consistent tempo. one of the best interpretations I've heard yet ^^
I personally prefer Rousseau's. This piece is very technical and both left and right hand need to be active where most pieces the left hand has a more supporting role. Reason why is best explained by Annique Göttler's interpretation that the left handed parts also need to be clear to the ear and not be 'glued' together by transition. The best result is obtained by quicker strokes, pinning the keys and lifting your fingers rather than trying to paint the notes as a whole. At 53 till 56 seconds, also by the use of the pedal, the lower key part is overwhelming and vague. The tempo change at 1'40 is also not something that fits in this etude. It should be presto con fuoco all the way in my opinion.
Hey, quick question! What fingering do you use for the chromatic descend right before the ending in the right hand? I’ve been struggling with that part!
Epic ! Only there is a hesitation between the transfers. Perhaps the rooting you are doing is too strong that's why then it creates hesitation. or practicing a little bit more :)

Oh god. Not remotely close. It is too jarring to the ears.
