I find this custom cabinet a piece of art... would love to have one and look at this all day. And sometimes play on it and enjoy the Cuphead soundtracks 🤗👌
What a great job! Designed a Cuphead arcade based on a PacMan cabinet last year but never built it. This is, by far, much better. Every decision you made adds to the cabinet. Fantastic!
I would not be able to let this one go. There needs to be a revised version of this there are plenty of funko pop vinyl's that would bring this to another level. Just throwing it out there in case you regret letting this beauty go.
This is really beautiful. I think the game is way to hard, although maybe I just suck at games. But you nailed the art style, it feels like it belongs.
What programing are you using to get the arcade sticks and buttons to work because I have a custom cabinet and have cuphead on it but can't get the buttons and sticks to work with it @Szabo's Arcades
This is absolutely beautiful. I found this video because I actually had the same idea. Only thing I would do with an SSD (or any hard drive) is make a clone of it so when it decides to die, you have a backup ready to go. No reconfiguring everything
only thing I would do is place some type of semi opaque glass/plastic to put behind the speaker ports and in front of the lights to diffuse the light a little bit and to hid all the wires
That is kick ass! I always wanted to do a Panzer Dragoon or PD ORTA type arcade build in the vein of a SEGA super scaler cabinet like space harrier...hint hint!
I really wish that Konami would do a Stickybear arcade game in the style of their 1989 arcade game Crime Fighters as a 4 player beat em up as that would be a new direction for the Stickybear franchise.
Wow this was amazing !!! Is it possible to set up the linix operating system to show cup head, Ghost and goblins resurretion, streets of rage 4 and latest title of a PC shoot'em up in a way that looks proffetional and i can Buy the games legally?
I would love to get TMNT: Shredders Revenge made into an arcade game once it's available for purchase. You think the same technique that you did with Cuphead work for that game? Hopefully, I guess I don't know if, it would work with Linix. I should learn linix! What do you think Szabo?
anyone know how to do this on windows where it boots straight into the game? I would maybe try to build something like this but that would be a big deal to me too. Id like it to boot right into cuphead.
Run windows 10 enterprise and hide all traces of windows with global settings command "bootuxdisabled" (there are some tutorials on this, its just an admin command) then go to the registry and shell whatever game path you want to boot to. This will hide ALL traces of windows, during the boot process the screen will be jet black up until the game boots. You can only do this with Enterprise (possibly win10 Pro but Im not sure)
Awesome job Joe, this is still on my list to do and now seeing you final cab I am thinking of just going your route and buying your art set, did you just build the Nintendo cab from scratch off of plans?
Very nice job! Are those white blocks with the screws that hold the monitor in place something you made or did you buy them? I have been using 1/4" square dowels but if there is an off the shelf solution I'd like to know!
This is an absolute work of art. Just found your channel and I really like your work. Question for you: is this just being held together with screws? Gluing to the melamine surface doesn't seem like it would hold up over time. I ask because I just laminated some panels and I'm wondering how to assemble them!
anylinks to a pressure sensitive joysticks or how to make one? Take super Marioi 64 for example if you play it on an arcade with standard joysticks it will always register as running when moving the joystick but on a gamepad if you were to move the thumbstick a little he would walk instead of run and if you put more pressure he would run. We both make cabinets so I wonder if you ever tried this or though about how to make this possible. Any feedback on this matter would be greatly appreciated thanks.
To me, that would ruin the beauty and simplicity of a dedicated cabinet. As he pointed out, this is meant to run like an original arcade cabinet. Those generally booted up one game and all the artwork and cabinet design related to that one game. This wasn’t meant to be a multiple arcade machine emulated experience. It was meant to be a Cuphead cab. And boy! If money was no concern, I’d be requesting one just like this!
Joe, that light coming from underneath through the clear buttons is GENIUS. Looks amazing!
Haha that's exactly what I thought. Genius
THIS SHOULD BE IN EVERY ARCADE IN THE WORLD 😍
What is the coolest arcade cabinet I’ve have seen
I find this custom cabinet a piece of art... would love to have one and look at this all day.
And sometimes play on it and enjoy the Cuphead soundtracks 🤗👌
That game is beautiful. You should be proud, that's a ton of work and the artwork is amazing.
Reggie Benes thanks for watching and the compliment, I appreciate it.
the way the sticks are striped like their straws is a nice touch , its in the details!
Amazing Build…!!! I can’t wait for your next project… Keep the Arcade Hobby Alive…!!!
FindingTheSunRecords Thank you!
Thanks man, always something new brewing!
This reminds of LaserDisc arcade games, like Dragon's Lair and Space Ace.
Dude this is the coolest cabinet every that fire effect is insane
I Envy the person who got this so much! It's amazing!!! If I had money I would've totally wanted to buy this.....

Amazing work, you are extremely talented.

Wow! super nice.

Damn, that cabinet is wow. The bezel u designed is top shelf. So so cool.
I'd like to see an official release one, possibly based on a Raspberry Pi Compute Module.
That’s awesome joe 😎👍
The cabinet Really suits the game.🔥
Nintendo Arcade thanks man!
Beautiful work! I’d imagine if arcades still went strong stateside, this would be the way to go.
Kid*Apoc thanks man, I really appreciate it, thanks for watching.

Very good work dude, love how you did the bezel very retro 80’s style. Still never played this game yet but it does look amazing.

Dude this is so badass seriously AWESOME job!!
That's amazing
Gilles Gobron thank you!
I will built it in Dragons Lair-style cab
Designed in 2010? Maybe the bare bones of it, man.
That cabinet looks awesome! Just wondering have you found a better way of getting steam games to boot straight from turning the computer on?
I would love to get TMNT: Shredders Revenge made into an arcade game once it's available for purchase. You think the same technique that you did with Cuphead work for that game? Hopefully, I guess I don't know if, it would work with Linix. I should learn linix! What do you think Szabo?
The cabinet is great and all, but are we going to ignore Mugman is called "Mughead"?
So beautiful....I can't believe you sold my cabinet. ;)

A cup head can is a fun idea
nice work.

Great job man, as always, you are incredible., is it yours or is it for sale?
andy clark thanks man, I originally built for myself but I recently sold to help fund a new camper for the family.
Szabo's Arcades That's great, awesome job and a really wonderful thing your doing for the family, God bless you man.
I feel like I have seen this before... But I still play on switch.

What do you use for the glass decals and where can I find different sorts of artwork for glass?
DUDE!
I want to make a arcade1up size version of this would it be possible to get your art to be resized to fit those machines?
I’d buy a customized arcade 1up version of this in no time!
Dead_PixL right check this guy out ruclips.net/video/R-DHqaFTlaU/видео.html I want to do the same thing for cuphead
@@zakAKAsnax Did you already start your project? Maybe i can help with the art.
I cannot figure out how to get arcade buttons mapped for most pc games. Please help me
I can most of the time get one player working but when I try to add 2nd player it gets mixed up
Looks great! Just followed you on Facebook!
guru dude thank you, I appreciate it!
What buttons did you use and are they concave?
Back to the Retro I purchase my buttons from paradise arcade. Concave yes.
This is brilliant, any clues as to what Linux it's running?
What did that end up selling for?
Isnt it overkill with a 1060?
Epicwater it is but when I was going this far with build why not lol
Are your joysticks pressure sensitive?
SanDiegoArcade I used SANWA joysticks on this.
anylinks to a pressure sensitive joysticks or how to make one? I purchased from my buddy at paradisearcadeshop.com/
I'd rather have that than any car
Why dont u add a menu like hyperspin and add more games

Bezel art kinda blocking the view
22 minute video and no game play.... SMH.... Either way, nice build
