I found this design on Pinterest and feel in love with it.. I could not thank you enough for this design plans.. This will save me so much time in the near future.. You have a new thumbs up and subscriber bud... keep up the good work
I'm very impressed with this machine. Big display really makes the gameplay more fun and wide control panel is necessary. I always hated being too close to the other player and hitting each other with elbows. Also the bigger cabinet allows putting better speakers with subwoofer to use it as a jukebox too. The bottle holders are very nice touch. Great build.
HI THERE, BY ANY CHANCE DO YOU HAVE THE INFORMACION THAT YOU GOT FROM THE LINK, IF YOU CAN PLEASE UPLOADED DUE TO THAT THE LINK THAT WAS PROVIDED, IS NO LONGER GIVING US THE INFO TO DOWNLOAD..
I am also gonna build my cabinet with your plans. I spent so much time with the hyperspin part that your plans will save me that much more time. I have all the parts already and the only changes I am making to your plans is removing the cup holders and moving a couple buttons. I am also placing an old lcd screen above my 42" LED as a hyper marquee display with the speakers on either side of it. That was easier than backlighting a plexiglassed paper marquee that i didn't have
Very Cool! Thanks for making the plans public. My kids and I may give this build a try! Anyone else out here do this yet? If so I'd love to hear some things that went well or needed help.
I really apreciate all the work, time and effort in supplying the community the plans for free ,i am a poor sob but would also like to support you i anyway i can
Thanks for sharing this build, theres creative ideas that I really like. Also you seem to be pretty much the only DIY builder that put in a real mount for the screen, bonuspoint for that! Additionally you inspire me to make one of these for myself as a winter project, and I would love to if I only had the skills to set up the software/hyperspin and if I only had some skills to hook up buttons or even knew what parts I need to make one. But extra cred for being inspiring to that degree!
Nice cabinet. Last thing on mine was to stop opening the coin door to adjust the volume on the lepai amp. I am going to do what you did with yours. Thanks for the great idea!
Really nice build! Great multiplayer wide setup and you didn't neglect the trackball. Really nice work on the control panel art and the cup holders are a great idea. AND you posted the plans! Great work!
My man Loco, I really enjoyed watching you're video and I have already took advantage and downloaded the files you shared. I plan to use you're exact plans for my arcade build. I appreciate you making you're experience and information public for those like us that enjoy great arcade games.
Great build, I would love to see more videos about hyperspin specific details, such as how to get the emulators to function as they should without crashing/ video scaling when running a game, key mapping, sensitivity trackball settings, what emulators are used etc. . I have a 2tb rom set pre loaded with hyperspin and looks great, but the games are hit and miss, i’m sure there are a bunch of settings that need to be “tweaked“ and have noticed several bugs such as slow running games, key mapping issues with any controller, Video” V sync” and many other problems. I would love to see if anyone else has fixed them and can show a running system. Specifically hyperspin and emulator settings, would be super helpful to have your expertise on. Great upload and thank you for sharing your system! 👍🏽 💯
To fix this issue stop using Hyperspin. It DOES not work as well as either Launchbox or attract mode. If you want 100% working roms sets find the no intro set for launchbox or CP78 set for attract mode . If you pay for the premium launchbox version every game is pre setup for an xbox controller.
Man i love the design... I was looking at a few homemade arcade's but yours is by far the best design cus u can stand and sit... in just over 100 hours... amazing all does i looked at took 250 hours and was not as big and you have done it from ground...Thx man so much i will make a version with a few arduino boards... Maybe a secret room activated when clicking a combination from the buttons on the arcade;D
Just built two bartops myself. Love your finished product! Hope it’s still getting good use 4 years later. Gonna check out your mini Pac-Man video and prob do one of those next. Looks so cool!
Your arcade is FANTASTIC!! I would love to build something like this, but I want mine to have four controllers instead of two. Unfortunately, I have no carpentry skills.
This is great! I really like your design. Thanks so much for including the sketchup files! I'm building one with my oldest son for a high school elective.
Man, amazing work. I wanted something almost exactly the same, but with different painting and stickers. Really really nice work. Also thanks for the sketches and plans. Very nice work.
Hi there , What a great job . i was looking into buying one of these in Aus however the cost is around the $1900 mark .. After watching your vid i am thinking of making one very similar to your one .
Great video man! I also built my own arcade cabinet. Mine is one of the old school deep and square type of cabinets versus your shallow and wide model. However lately I've been wanting to make mine shallow and wide like yours because mine sticks out way to much. So thanks for posting a link to you plans. I will more than likely be using them and making a few tweaks since my flat panel is only 27" versus your 39".
Well I would give you £100 for the machine, but dam you had to increase the value by adding beer holders. You have added a few thousand with those pesky things. You are a man after my own heart, I am really surprised that more people do not make beer holders.
Thank you Bro for giving us free downloadable plans, you did a great gob, i love the built, the 39'' inch screen is perfect not too big. God bless you.
great piece of work ,just love it. I'm going to build one myself but going with a 32" LCD monitor (true..not a "slow" response TV) and i mainly play shmups tated. The thing is..i get like a 27" 4:3 picture wich responds to shmups beeing played on a sega astro city (crt) wich are actually 29" of wich about 27" is real estate:) The problem is the following...i would go crazy if i sit this close as you do tbh so i backed of and found the spot to be like eyes to screen = 28" wich seem far away. So i'm gonna have to make some alterations to the making of distance wise ,just wanted to point this out to all the folks here to think it over carefully cause once built...better safe then grievance and sore eyes:)
Hey Buddy! Congratulations about your fantastic job! And your kindness to share the project here! We are going to build your project here in Brazil to have much fun btw old school friends! Thanks!
That cup holder is brilliant. I'm trying to do something similar. But I want a 4 player . I have the. Computer and buttons. I just need to teach myself how do the wood stuff lol . I may have to borrow that cup holder idea if you don't mind
me hize exactamente la misma maquina...hay medidas que no cuadran con la original del video, pero se agradece!!!! gran máquina!!! una pregunta, no pude encontrar los posavasos!!!...jaja saludos!!!! y GRACIAS!
Awesome arcade dude. I watched it a few years ago n built one. Moved and now I’m going to build one for my new home. Thank you. Where did you get control panel art?
Nice machine! I question, I want to build one, but i dont really want the interface on LCD/LED, I would to like use a CRT tv to get real resolution and frecuency for arcade games, as you did for the games are going well, I've done tests and there are games that are very bad at LCD, thanks, and your jobs look really nice!.

I like the cabinet design, I'm looking to do something similar but I don't have all the pc stuff. I'm looking to buy a pandoras box arcade console or rasberrie pi setup.

simply one of the most fabulous arcade machines I have ever seen .

One of the best modern arcade cabinets I've ever seen! Sure to make this project instead of my favorite regular CRT TV project first.
Very Cool! Thanks for making the plans public. My kids and I may give this build a try! Anyone else out here do this yet? If so I'd love to hear some things that went well or needed help.
