It's my experience now but things are changing as if Ekko could've gotten what he wanted but in his own reality with Jinx. When I heard this song in French, I had no idea what it was saying but my Beloved pulled me to it. Then I saw the English lyrics and broke down.

As a native french speaker it sadly doesn't. The bit where Ekko calls her a curse and a boon in the original version just doesn't hit right when he just says "you're the worst and best thing that happened to me" in English. It's hard to translate a song, but I think they should've vetted the translation before going ahead to make sure the meaning and intensity isn't lost.
I LOVE this adaptation. It does exactly what an adaptation should: adapta and expand. I LOVE the original but this is a gem. The words flow so organically, the message of the song being conveyed through different words, but the emotion stays the same. I love how she added Ekko’s time travel to the mix! Stellar job!
