All her covers are fantastic. She transforms every song and sings it as if she originally wrote it. Her covers of Teardrop, Life on Mars, Believer, God as a Woman, Across the Universe, etc... are all amazing

She performed this during a Leonard Cohen tribute in Canada following his passing. I really like her rendition of another Cohen song: "The Partisan," which was originally written and performed by a member of the French Resistance in WW II.

@@kippys1 ok - I didn't know that! By the way, I guess you've seen her doing "so long Marianne" as well. I think that was in Canada too.

She have heard this song since she was little and have for sure singing this for a long time. She felt this deep in her soul. I think it is because she have heard so much of Leonard she is so marvellous in story telling and phrasing in her own songs.

Here is another superb Aurora cover..... a great song from a great songwriter of our times, actually he is from a former period of time, but a great poet of his time by all means....and this is a great and very mature like song, and Aurora brings it back to life, both the song and the author, and this version is by a very young Aurora, beautiful and unique.......she never stops surprising me, filling my soul with her Love and Magic. What she does here is epic, this is not an easy song either, and she tells the story perfectly clear, close your eyes and it's like a movie, so expressive, so this time it is her song, she made it her with full respect for Mr.Cohen...........she is so good.......

I have followed aurora now for five years, seen her perform live, watched every video and live concerts that i can possibly find.yes you might say I'm hooked.my friends often ask me what is the one song that I like the best, now that hard for I can honestly say every song has moved me in ways I never thought possible.but there is one song that has never been released called Why did you have to go. For me it's a song that sets aurora apart from any other artist it's a very personal song for aurora, she wrote the song for a very special friend who sadly died in an accident only then to be asked to perform it at the funeral can you imagine what that must of been like for her, but the song is one of the most moving songs you will ever hear trust me your tears will be uncontrollable and you will never forget it.yes aurora is not only a special artist she is a wonderful and caring human being, would love to hear your thoughts about the song,I think you will be moved in the same way I was.from the UK stay safe.
