I also am completing this game, and honestly, it's not that bad so far. I completed story mode, magoland and magolor's epilogue so far. The only thing left are the EX challenges and the two arenas. And yes, I'm doing all platinum.
Update: It's done. Hardest bit was the EX versions on sand and mecha challenges, the rest was pretty easy.

I’ve been playing it a whole bunch recently and having so much fun, I never owned it on Wii but I got it in 2022 on my Wii U (long before they announced the switch remake) but on switch was the first time I’ve beaten it. I used to play it at friend’s houses but never got to the end together, so finally experiencing the end was awesome and all the new stuff is epic too! Highly recommend any Kirby game to literally anyone cuz they’re that good 😂

What I did for the Kirby samurai mission was to play in handheld and use headphones at max volume. It reduces the input delay over using a tv and reacting with sound is faster than with sight. I was able to more consistently beat the samurai challenges with that.

I didn't go for Platinum with the challenges, so I guessed I only "finished it". I enjoyed the whole process of reaching 100% (including a complete jukebox), but it certainly took quite a dedicated chunk of time. The final egg catcher mission (28+/30 eggs) was very difficult for me, and it was annoying to do the challenges a second time (even though I didn't try to platinum them, I can't imagine what that would be like)

Was waiting to watch this video until I completed the game myself. Honestly the magoland challenges weren't really difficult; I only struggled with beating Samurai Kirby on hard twice in a row and getting 28 eggs in the egg catcher. Platinum medals on the challenges took a lot of time as well, but it's not super difficult to learn the stages well enough to get all the points you need with like an hour of time on each. Honestly the thing that gave me the most trouble was the True Arena, but only because I refused to use any souvenirs, just for my own pride. My playstyle is just too speedy and reckless and I'd always take a lot of unnecessary damage. Though I do still need to go find all of the HAL rooms, because I didn't know about getting that star on the jukebox until now! Still, big congrats to Jirard for getting it all done so fast! Hope your thumbs have recovered!
