While it seems like a decent phone for a low price, I just don't like any phones larger than 6.5" screen size. So I went with the A54 with a perfect 6.4' screen for me. :)
@Ari G I'm pretty sure there's custom ROMs for the Note10+ that gets you A13, not that you'd wanna go through all the trouble to do that ofc, but still pretty cool.
I just bought one and I'm using it for 1 week now, it's a good phone btw its so smooth, took so many hours before it gets a low battery and was not laggy when it comes to online games (i haven't tried it on hard games like cod etc). However, the only problem with it is even though I use a 25w charger it took 2 and a half hour before it gets fully charged UPDATE: (I've been using A14 for 4 months now) -I am currently playing COD(about 15gb), Dragon Raja(20+gb), Mobile legends(6? gb) and Wildrift(6?gb), i don't experience any lag at all!!! - I'm not sure if it's only me, but whenever I take a picture and try to zoom in, my camera appears to be blurry(Whenever I zoom in, the pixels become highly noticeable). Well, that is my only issue with the A14 camera. However, I love how its 50MP capability enhances the quality of the pictures(it becomes clearer and brighter) especially when compared to my dad's Realme camera.
Try different chargers. I used my Oneplus' 65W charger and my A14 did fast charge. Make sure your charging brick supports fast charging, and it would be nice if you have a usb c to usb c charger which can help.
It's charging very slow and this is why: A14 5g supports only 15 Watt fast-charging (even on a 25W charger!). Therefore there's nothing you can do about it. A 5000mh battery will take about 2,5 hours to fully charge. It's very slow in 2023. Charging times is the only thing where Samsung loses to the competition namely all Chinese phones. I bought a OnePlus Nord CE 2 5g last November for only 179€ (194$) and it's amazing value for the price: Super AMOLED screen 6,43", in the box a 65W charger + a great quality case too. Charging the battery takes about 37 minutes only (from 0-100%) and that just feels so good every time.
Have been a Moto man for a long time and my brother just upgraded to the 2023 Moto G Play and it seems like a nice phone but I think I'm going to get the A14 5G just for comparison and since we both upgrade about every 4 years we will see how we both like our phones as the years tick by. Just to update this I just bought the A14 a couple of days ago and absolutely love it.
Moto are great i have the moto g power it's a great phone for 99 dollars on sale .. however it only gets one more update so from Android 12 to Android 14 .. that's stinks .. Samsung is way better with the updates so my next phone will be the a54 5g
Bought one the other day and been happy with it. Only complaint is for North America, 64GB storage is the only option. But happy with sd card support and appears to be a battery champ.
Even with SD, you're limited in how many apps you can download. SD is good for photos, music, etc. But you'll run out of space quickly with normal usage.

It's worth every penny. In the Philippine market, it's a little over 200 USD. But we get 6gb of RAM and 128gb of storage. And a lot of dealers give out a fast charging brick as freebie. It has a large nice screen and fast enough for the usual daily tasks. PLUS, cameras are great for the class! Recommended.
I wish we got the Exynos version though. For 3K less ($55), it’s tempting to get the A13 5G which has the same Dimensity 700 but 720p screen. Also 6/128 GB.
@@jasonlicos I would go for the A14 5G because the processor is faster for some reason (same SOC but perhaps better optimized in the A14) and much better screen.

A14 samsung model SMA146U... Not sure if this is the same model you are speaking of but My thoughts..... . This phone sucks! Don't waste money. The camera does not work unless you give location. The password lock screen, even though set up for visual impairment, it is too small. Everything now wants location location, location. The software on this phone turns on Bluetooth and wifi even though it shut off. Watching videos ? Well if you pause and switch screens, it does not resume video but completely loses it. Watch software updates, many phone privacy settings, same crap you have to go trhu with what google used to do when they updated (resetting privacy locations and allowed software access) . Don't know what the hell happened in last 4 years, but cell phones have changed quite a bit in their privacy functions. Oh wait, we all know what happened here in the last 4 years...old man joe.

Does it have a built in screen recorder ?
It's wonderful to have upgrades from 720p to 1080p software resolution enhancement.
But in practical reality, when viewing this video, on my phone I have 2.5 inch wide and 5 inch long screen.
Of which, less than 4.5 inch of screen is in use to view this video.(4.2 actually to precise)
Perhaps, ideally when making upgrades considering 3 inch wide and 6 inch long screen size as base phone units is as wisely, would be just adorable and truly overwhelmingly "pixelicious".
Thank for so much for sharing and listening.
I bought the exynos version and its fabulous. High expectations for exynos1380(A54)
Does it heat and lower performance?? how's gaming?
You got scammed , Moto g72 is perfect in this price .
@@Im_Z_4747 I would trust Samsung to support their device for a long time, moto can't even do the same for their flagship devices, let alone the midrange ones.
@@Krooks522 Moto has better specs and clean stock ui with their features .
@@Im_Z_4747 moto is not that good. But tis Exynos 1330 outperform it's expectations.
I love these 'cheap' galaxy phones but the screen is too big for my elderly mother! She still has her A40. Edit; A40 died as it got wet, now has A33 5G and it’s great!
@@KoalaBeer. true, at least for my mom (70+ yo). I had thought she preferred something easier to hold, but she said she preferred bigger screens because they’re easy to read 😊
Love from Bangladesh 💚
This is world best selling phone in 2023 😁
People often think that flagship like
IPhone Pro Max or S xx Ultra are best selling, but the fact is, most people buys budget phone.
Both 4 for my family via Metro PCS , 2 have already broken in the same place... Power button.. Ugh. Wish there was some type of guarantee that didn't cost so much
I know it's said that this phone is a dual SIM phone, does it hold two physical SIMS?
Or does it hold one physical SIM and one electronic SIM?
so wheres the 50MP photos at for comparison or did i miss them?
The galaxy a14 5g was my daily driver for about a year before switching to iPhone 15 and it did everything I needed it to do, the only problem I had was videos and pictures could come out alil blurry
Just got this phone I switched from iPhone to this I don't regret it its sooooooo smooth and the screen is perfect
Which iPhone did you have? Torn between this and the new SE
How is the camera?
Give it 1 more year
@@keonxd8918 and it will still be fine. this is samsung were talkin abt cuh

Been using it for about a week and i absolutely hate it. I like my A71 better. This thing has been laggy, it overheats, my apps close prematurely, and it takes forever to charge.
wish they had 3.5mm and sd card on A53 or S series. would buy it in a pinch.
Yup a52s 5g has it it's better a53 btw
Its same design of a24 whats the difference of a14 and a24? A14bis 5g while a24 is 4g which is better the 5gbor 4g??? Cuz im confused with 4g or 5g thing
PHONE IS SOLD WITHOUT A CHARGER. HOW DO U SELL PHONES WITHOUT THE CHARGER? SHOULD BE A LAW AGAINST THIS!!!!!!!
Tell that to iPhone too...

@@kazumaa7093 telling that to iphones won't change a thing bruh
Most oems are doing this nowadays
They come with a wire... You telling me you ain't got about 25 plugs floating around your house?
Why didn't he mention what chip is used in EUROPE? 👎 This channel in Bulgaria, Europe. As for the review no other complaints, a great entry level Samsung worthy of anyone's hard-earned cash. And the 50mp cameras photos looked much better than ever before in this price range. Samsung did a great job on this one.
Nice Video man, great Job, I have a question about that phone. When I plug it in my PC I clic on link and there is nothing no file, now how do I get my vidéo/picture back Thank you
I like your voice you sound so professional and it made me want to listen you about the phone.
Sir which one is better A14 5g or A15 5g???
Can it run PS2 games using aethersx2 emulator for android?
just bought it for a discountet price of 1500 nok (160 dollars) will use at work so need somthing simple and easy . Great review
Привет тебе из Казахстана 🇰🇿, (не путай с Афганистаном)) спасибо за обзор. Действительно, хороший смартфон за его цену, я имею ввиду версию на exynos 1330.
I bought it because it has an
3.5 headphone jack😂
I'm interested in the camera specifically. 50Mp in comparison to most that are like 12.
Does it support Ram Plus? And can you install Good Lock ( or nice lock)
This is a man that knows how to create a proper review. Thanks a bunch!
I have been using the Galaxy A71 for a couple years now and I want an upgrade. I have had my eye on this particular phone for a few months. All I want to know is, should I uprage from the A71 to this? I'm struggling. I love my A71 but I need something that'll make me wanna cheat on it
i will buy this phone soon...☺️🙂
Just wish that taking a screenshot was easier.very hard for people with carpal tunnel.
3:01 wrong info there, LTE variant has MediaTek Helio G80 Processor.
Getting a low tier Samsung smartphone nowadays is slowly becoming a waste of money. At $150 or $190 you could get a refurbished iphone 8 or a Xiaomi phone that offers better bang for the buck and features. It's really disappointing :(
Thank you for this detailed and informative review.
What smart watch is compatible?
I just got this phone today at t-mobile 34 bucks out the door...it's good enough for me
Is this good for an internet hotspot?
I just got it today upgraded from Samsung galaxy A13
What other phones would you recommend in the same range as the A23?? I am yet to make decisions on which to buy in Africa
A20
I wish they can add screen recorder on the future updates.
Edit: anybody here having a problem with the chat heads not appearing whenever you're in the Settings?
A 14 5G or M31 witch one is good
Samsung should kick off the waterdrop notch and bring punch hole diaplay in budget phones...thats a very big drawback of samsung budget phones
call quality (clarity?), bluetooth volume while call?(loud enough?)
So I just the bought the 4g variant with I think it's the helio g80 version because it runs roblox max graphic with no lag and it's very good the only flaw is it stutters sometimes when switching apps
A14 5G or Moto G73? Which one one makes more sense?
60hz refresh rate and an LCD screen? No charging brick, Exynos or Dimensity chipset and a meh main camera? LOL. Get yourself a Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G or Note 12 instead.
Its 90 Hz btw. Also Redmi Note 11 Pro is a trash Helio G96 chip???
Is there a difference between the 4G/5G bands supported by the Indian vs US versions?
Super Excellent,Exciting and Expressed Review.
This phone is good enough for the majority of the world. Most are just looking to watch videos text surf and take basic photos. Though if you you want to burn your money and buy a top of the line phone you most likely will not use go for it.
out of 50 phones. samsung releases every year.. not a single phone is compact 5.8-6" form factor. All phones are 6.5"+ with heavy/bulky.. except S23 which is 6.1".
Why cant samsung keep atleast A1x series like 5.8-6" compact phones?
Nice... But does it explode like the galaxy note 7?
Phone call audio is very weak because the ear speaker is so small. Had an A21 for 2 years and it was better quality.
i got this for my dad who breaks their phone at least every 4 months as a backup phone - now that i think about it i might buy myself a cheap back up phone
Where can I get the charger block to buy?
good budget phone for a poor college student, thanks for the review
I see Samsung is sticking to the s22 design
A very good main camera at this price range a winner but everything else is not that good.
Watch software updates, many phone privacy settings, same crap you have to go trhu with what google used to do when they updated (resetting privacy
locations and allowed software access) . Don't know what the hell happened in last 4 years, but cell phones have changed quite a bit in their privacy functions. Oh wait, we all know what happened here in the last 4 years...old man joe.
I'm watching this on my samsung A20, 720p amoled , android 11 in 2023 nearly 5 years old, battery fine sure I can't play, mid to high graphics games, youtube and Netflix fine, no battery issues.
People are impressed with 1080p until you realize it's TFT IPS ?? Look at the specs of the cameras in this range , samsung you can do better.
A13, a14, a21, a23 are not great value for money.
Bought this phone today
so, I bought the phone 2 days ago and I have a problem, whenever I speak with someone on the speaker I'm not heard by the other person almost at all, is it a phone problem or something else?
Looking to upgrade my Motorola E5 Cruise phone. On my phone the battery is removable and my keyboard to text can be customize by adding a background picture.
Can this phone do that?
Any os, security updates promised?
Will u pls do review for A34&A54
The reason why I bought samsung is there ui system to upgrade and knox security so I'm waiting to have this.

LOL! The choppy selfie camera video at the end.
I'm confused, which one is better the A13 or A14?
