Actually they are the voice actors who did the Star Wars Clone Wars TV show. Most of the teens who were the target demographic for this game grew up with that show and those actors.

As a young 13 year old who had never owned an xbox or wagched starwars when i went to my unvles place and we played this game i was hooked. This game is like super nostalgic to me. I remember me and a cousin dancing to the han solo song unironically as my uncle was having a stroke from laughing too hard. Good times. Im pretty sure he still has footage of me dancing to this day.

Btw, about that whole menu bit, you were doing it wrong. You are supposed to use your left hand to scroll left and you right hand to scroll right. It'll never work vice-versa. I've tested it out and it works 100% of the time when you do that. I realize that this game doesn't explain it, but others do, so I suppose it just expects you to know that.
Tylermike75 As someone who developed a thing or two using Kinect for Windows (yet another virtual dressing room application), I discovered that people usually NEVER do what they're supposed to, they expect their ninja quick sudden movements should be detected flawlessly (the Kinect 1.0's is 30 fps and the depth resolution is 320x240 for crying out loud!), and they tend to raise their hand so far in front of them (almost completely stretched) then when asked to press on a button they have to lean with their body then complain that their arms hurt ... well no shit it will hurt, they're supposed to hold it comfortably close to their body and slowly extend it when they need to press.
... I should stop ranting :D
Hassan Selim Agree completely with what you said. I use my Kinect correctly and I feel that it works so much better than people say it does :)
Tombwolf Also, since it's basically a Wii clone, you would expect it to act like the Wii with the quick movements. The Kinect however, is much slower causing frustrations, and even if you do compensate for the lag, it would feel unnatural and awkward to control.
Tylann The Kinect is severely lacking, specially the first-gen, they had to put low resolution cameras and cut down on a few things to bring down the price, but they ended up with people still whining about the price and also whining about the lack of quality.
People don't realize that depth cameras were much much more expensive before the kinect came around, people all around the world reversed engineered it and made unofficial drivers (the "kinect hacks" movement) because it's such a cheap depth camera!
It might not be ready for the majority of the consumers (they just can't value the tech, the only care about idiot-proof usability), but it's a huge step forwards in the field of Computer Vision, given the big improvement from Kinect 1 to Kinect 2, I personally can't wait for Kinect 3 :D

I'd argue Jon just sort of let the awkward shit he said go unaddressed for long enough that everyone forgot while wisely keeping his political views out of the comedy videos, while Jirard kinda has to answer this.

You know, that thing people do for fun where they each get a side of a topic assigned to them (either one vs one, or group vs group) and have to try to argue for that side whether they like that side or not. I think he had to debate as someone who would want a wall built to seperate the US and Mexico.

He did. You can see elsewhere in the video that the menu works by swiping on the arrows, and multiple times works from exactly the same motion he was doing. He just showed it when it worked the least
I'm surprised why this game was on the KINECT, but not on the Wii, when the Wii has the perfect controls for this game. -_-

OptimusPhillip and since its more responsive the force can be implemented better, for example if you lifted the controller it it will levitate the enemy. if you put the controllers together it can force choke, if you extend your arms out and till the controllers it would start shooting electricity!

Just get any of the Jedi Knight games people. Those games was awesome!
If you haven't tried it, play Dark Forces 1 and 2. The first one is just a really fun FPS but the second one gives you a lightsaber and it's the game that allowed Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy to happen.
Although I lost all respect for the Completionist after he stole money from a charity, this video is still an all time classic in the Jontron mythos
What's ironic is that people didn't go after HIM for siphoning charity funds like a scumbag yet Scott Cawthon got the 'torch, pitchforks and death wishes' treatment for DONATING money
@@jeremyallen5974I don't defend either when I say what I'm about to say. The completionist still had all the funds, they never siphoned nor used it. Their wrong was lying to everyone on the how, where and when the money will be donated.
Scott however, is very clear cut. Yes, he donated money. Not to any charity organisations, but to curry political favours. To give money to the people who stood to uphold his bigoted beliefs.
Both did wrong, but one is 100% evil no questions asked.

Star Wars Kinect makes Star Wars Battlefront look like the holy grail and it also makes the Disney Star Wars movies look like a masterpiece.
