@yeungmancooking Thanks for the umami power recipe and the rice dish looks fantastic. What brand containers do you use to store seasonings and dry goods?
Same! I incorporate other proteins sometimes because Wil's recipes become that incredible "rabbit hole" that takes you different places and there is no wrong way or no way the end product dish will be wrong.
No kidding! I'm gonna have to up my game. Oh, who am I kidding...I don't have a game. I have lots spices in lots of little baggies in a big Tupperware and I drive myself crazy.
I dehydrate my shiitake to add them later to ramen. I add the stalks in the dehydrator and they are usually too hard to rehydrate easily, so I powder them. I'm going to try the umami powder. What a great idea!❤
I love how you demystify the recipe and make them very accessible , and I love love love the idea of making the umami spice powder I find as a I am diabetic a lot of prepared spice mixes have unpronounceable ingredients and often a lot of sugar plus fillers , I’ve been substituted to you channel since it began but never had the courage to write a comment , mr yeung you do a very good job of explaining everything and I am enormously grateful to you ,wishing you all good things . ❤

And again my expectations were exceeded. What a wonderful recipe. And all my favorite ingredients! The umami powder is a fantastic idea. I can't wait to make this amazing dish. Thank you very much! 🤗
You know what? My sister followed you, then I'm following you. And this is where the only reason why I'm following you, not the other RUclipsrs, is because you are a literal beast in ASMR, man. Hi Wil this is unrelated to this video but I just spoke to the Unscented Company for a product I could no longer get and they asked me where I heard about the products and I told them that you recommended them from one of your videos. I love the products so much, thank you for recommending them.
@@YEUNGMANCOOKING Hi Wil, I remember you mentioning that you use The Unscented dish soap and other products from their line. I recently started using the entire range and absolutely love it! I had never heard of this brand until you introduced it to me. The product that I could no longer get was the cloths brightener, and when she asked how I found out about this brand, I told her it was you from Yeung Man Cooking. Let’s hope they give you a well-deserved shout-out!
Looks good! I'd saute the mushrooms before the other veggies, and let them get nice and dark brown, with most of the water cooked off. This intensifies the flavor and texture of the mushrooms!
I made this tonight. I used pre-mixed umamai powder and I didn't have chili oil. (I added crushed chilis to the oil instead step(s) where chili oil was called for) But otherwise faithful to this recipe. It is sooooo delicious and easy.thank you!
I love your channel, im so grateful for it. I am a vegan gluten free due to intolernaces and I can eat all the dishes I have seen you make! It is a life saver. Very healty and delicious food. I liked the Umami Powder very much. Thank you for these wonderful recipes and such a soothing channel. The Vitamix looks top of the line. Best blender out there. I will probably buy one.
I love my Vitamix. I've had mine for over 23 years. At one point I was going to get another one when they came out with the larger container but all I had to do was buy the container. Vitamix is the BEST!!!!!!! And you are the best even if I'm not a vegetarian
Happy Sunday! Great title for the recipe. Looks delicious! Is that a new knife? Beautiful serving plate! I love my Vitamix! I purchased your nut milk bag and it makes a world of difference in the smoothness and taste of my sprouted almond milk! Have a wonderful day! ❤
