Mozart and Bach will always be respected for their technical talents, but Tchaikovsky will always and forever be more loved, because his music comes from the heart and goes to the heart.
Tchaikovsky was the master of melody.

He's the best all around composer--he touches people's hearts and that's precious. Few composers do this.
Tchaikovsky is my most favorite composer of all time. His music shows the heart of an incredibly deep beautiful soul, often tormented, often joyous, always reflective.
what can one say about this man and his beautiful, magical, amazing, and incredible works? It just boggles my mind that all this grand music came from him. Genius...pure and simple. BRAVO!!!!
Piotr Illych Tchaikovsky is now, years and years ago from his time, the best music compositor ever. His music is the very best of all classical music. I'd really loved to know him, or watch him direct a concert... Just love him
In my opinion, Piotr Ilic Tchaijkovskij is the greatest composer of every time. I love his musical intensity, his ability to translate his emotional power into such intensive and different melodies... Sorry if my English is not perfect: Hope I could express my absolute love for this genius, who was first of all a man who could transmit his enormous sadness and all his intensive emotions through an unforgettable music. Thanks a lot for posting this video!
I much prefer Romantic era music over Classical era. It's so much more full of PASSION and emotion than Classical
One of my downright favourite composers of all time, thanks alot! Piano concerto no.1,march slave, and of course symphony no.4 is madness to play.

I cannot put into words what I feel when I listen to Tchaikovsky. His work speaks to my very soul.
by 'all round' I meant that Tchaikovsky has masterpieces in all genres--symphony, opera, ballet, chamber music, program music. Wagner, for all his genius, shined singularily in only one--but what a one. Wagner is the composer with most genius if we can fine tune this definition---
