@@CPAPblog The cpap function of the apap devices is not used for therapy, it is used to test and compare the different pressure combinations that the registers of the apap therapy give... In pap devices, each letter refers to a therapeutic function, not to the technical characteristics of the equipment. In the case of the letter c, it refers to continuous pressure therapy , and the apap is a device that is used for adaptive pressure therapy. Consequently, if we say acpap, we are saying that the device is used for continuous and adaptive pressure therapy at the same time, and it is a mistake that can confuse the user. If I configure a bipap equipment with the same pressure at both levels, I obtain a cpap function, but that does not modify the therapeutic purpose of the device, so, despite being able to administer continuous pressure, we do not call it bicpap, but simply , bipap: bi-level positive air pressure. The only device that combines the name of two different therapies is the abipap: adaptive bi-level positive air pressure. I do not want to disturb, but in matters related to the testing of medical supplies, the information must be accurate.
@@juanmartindesimone1845 You know what... I thought about it and you're right! In Poland we don't pay attention to acronyms and we treat CPAP as our own name for PEEP therapy. I'll improve for the future. Thank you for paying attention! :-)
@@CPAPblog Not exactly ... There is no pap therapy either, because continuous air pressure, without an administration mechanism, has no therapeutic application ... When we speak of Pap alone, we refer to the devices in general, because it is the only one element that they all have in common ... the first letter or the first two letters are those that refer to the therapy itself ... Consequently, the correct thing to do is to talk about pap devices and clarify, depending on each case, if They use cpap, apap, bipap or abipap for therapies. Greetings.
Dziękuję, pozdrawiam i życzę zdrowia. Świetna recenzja pozwalająca podjąć decyzję.
A jak wygląda porównanie do starszego modelu REMstar Auto A-Flex ???? które jest cichsze? Jakie inne są cechy porównawcze?

Pytanie:
Co ile myjesz ten filtr wielokrotnego użytku? Oraz jak często go wymieniasz? :)
Dziękuje!

CPAP OR APAP... ACPAP does not exist
Of course you're right, there is no such thing as ACPAP, but it is not a mistake to talk about Auto CPAP interchangeably with APAP.
