Tip: Go to the next bench in the palace so you can just go down and re enter it fast and use hiveblood so you don’t die, hope this helped!

Hiveblood is good for platforming challenges but is a bit slow. I recommend deep focus + grubsong as that almost gives you infinite soul.

"Is there a checkpoint?" if you are able to use dreamgate, then yes. Also I feel like sharp shadow might have helped out a little.
Nvm I just read your comment about you thinking that you had to fight pure vessel so it would make sense to put only your best charms on. Otherwise the other charm I would've reccomended is either Hiveblood or Kingsoul.

I believe dream gate isn’t possible in some areas like the white palace but hive blood is pretty good. I think grub song and deep focus is also a good combo.

Not gonna lie, I did the path of pain for fun. And some people have made mods to make it even harder. Look at Path of Pain 3.0 for example. I really wish that theres gonna be something similar to path of pain in silksong
