i wouldn't necessarily call path of pain "easy" but i wouldn't call it unfun either, its not hard enough to where you feel like your making no progress but its not easy enough to do it in your sleep, it's right between the two in a sweet spot that, when done right makes some really iconic platforming challenges.
I mean at a first try it is quite hard but honestly after I did it a second time it felt like I did it 10000 times idk if it’s like that for others but it was for me
