You gave me some good ids how to use my wood slices with my fabric! Love how that pot turned out it's prefect! That drop cloth fabric fits right in with rustic decor. They all look really nice in your chairs! Love all 3 of them all and all 3 turned out fantastic! Take care and God Bless y'all always

Donna, I’ve been looking for material for pillows for my two new deck chairs. I never even thought about drop cloth what a great idea. I’ll probably use stencils to create images for my pillows but the leaves did make a gorgeous pattern on the pot. You are so creative. Thanks.

Ya, we used drop cloth for curtains on the sundeck. Cheap and durable material. The only issue is that they've got spots of mildew, I have to bleach them once a year.
Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words. You are so sweet 🤗
      Take care 💖 😊🌿

I have so much drop cloth and this will be a good way to use some of it! I'm glad Gorilla makes fabric glue. I haven't seen it yet, but I'll be looking for it now. I love both projects, and can't wait to get started! Thank you so much Donna!

Ya, I have a bunch of drop cloth too. I'm going to see what else I use it for!! I have made curtains for our sundeck out of it, works well, stands up to the wind. BUT I didn't treat the material, so it mildews. I have to wash it in bleach once a year.
I was excited to see the gorilla adhesive too. I hope it holds up, it should!! I really like their products.
Thanks so much for watching. Have a great weekend Valerie 🤗💖

I was given some stacking landscape blocks. I piled them up 5 high along the edge of my patio as extra seating. Made a cushion out of bright colorful curtain valances the exact size I needed. I don’t leave the cushion out but it still has faded some. I figure I will just buy another curtain or sheet in the future and cover it again. I love repurposing. Also, many secondhand stores sell their stained items to a “rag man”. They will take faded fabrics so now I am recycling too.

I guess you could even use thrifted curtains too!! 😃 Great idea!!! Ya, I think no matter what, things tend to fade over time not matter what we use or do.
Thanks for sharing your idea. Sounds awesome!!
Thanks for watching. Take care 🤗💖🌿

Just a tip for ya. Buy the bed pillows instead of the polysilicon. The pillows are only $4 n cut them open for the polyfil and save the case for another project. So much cheaper than their bags of polyfil and its the same thing

I was also going to suggest that. Great tip.

Yes, I usually do that 😉 But I had this from a few years ago and wanted to use it up. It's taking up so much space in my storage 🤪
I didn't find that it was too expensive though, surprisingly!!
Thanks for sharing this, I forgot to mention it.
Thanks for watching. Have a great weekend 💖🤗

I buy pillows at garage sales, throw them in the washer and then open them up for the stuffing. This only is economical if you get the pillows really cheap.

They make fuseable tape Wonder under. Still I prefer to use hand stitching.

I have tried fusible web, not the biggest fan. I may need to try another brand. I thought about hand stitching, but this was thicker fabric, plus I really wanted to try the Gorilla adhesive 😉😆
Thanks so much for watching and for your suggestion. Take care 💖

Too many coasters just let condensation run over the edge. I am always looking for absorbent ones. How will your fabric over wood hold up? At 90+° here, glasses of ice drip a LOT!

I totally understand. I don't use ice in my beverages, so I never thought of that. BUT, I will keep you updated in the community tab. It gets really hot here too. I did mention to seal it all up really well for outdoor use. I guess we will see how they hold up 😉 I'm thinking about doing an update video on how things have held up later in the season. I have done a lot of experiments for my outdoor decor!!
Thanks so much for watching and letting me about your thoughts. Have a wonderful weekend🤗💖
