    This is a great demo, thank you for posting! I have one question. Why does the official Tula manual state that the neck support panel should be on the inside? The way you teach how to use it is very intuitive and I would prefer to have the panel outside like you do.

      They suggest that for small newborns, to take up space around the back of their shoulders. In my experience, the Explore doesn't fit them that early anyway, by the time it fits them, they don't need the cushion on the inside.

    Question
    pediatrician recommends legs
    Hang straight down til 6 months old

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  Месяц назад

      Your paediatrician probably needs to update their knowledge. Newborns don’t naturally have their legs hanging straight down. When you pick up your newborn, they generally pick up their knees into a “frog leg” position. That’s the “M-Position” that we want to accommodate. It’s just allowing the baby to assume their natural position. Hope that helps. 🙂

    From what age and weight would you recommend this carrier?

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  2 месяца назад

      The Tula Explore will fit your newborn once they start to "uncurl". Lots of newborns are very curled up/scrunched up when they're born & many stay that way for a few weeks, others uncurl really quickly. Once a newborn starts to uncurl, the Tula Explore will start to fit nicely.

    Any ladies with a larger bust able to nurse in this carrier? My current carrier my newborn cant which has made for a cranky baby. Im looking for one he can eat in

      It’s technically possible to feed in any sling/carrier, as long as it doesn’t have an internal harness as this puts fabric between you & baby. You will find that younger babies need to be supported around the back of the neck as they feed, so you won’t be hands free during feeds, but you can simply try loosening the straps & bouncing the carrier down to the right height. With a big bust, you may also need to support your breast as you feed. Hope that helps.

    My son is two months old,,can I use a baby carrier??

    • @SouthLondonSlingLibrary
      @SouthLondonSlingLibrary  4 месяца назад

      Yes, absolutely. If it fits him & you can tick all your safety boxes. If you’re not sure, then get in touch with your local Sling Library or Babywearing Consultant for some in person help, or you can book an online consultation with me if you prefer.
