How long do we have it set for a newborn? My baby is 3 months and 13 pounds! She has neck control
As baby gets taller you can start to lower where you sit the waistband. You want little one’s head on your upper chest. When the waistband is moved lower, this will make the panel taller.
You’ll want it on the narrowest setting until it fits on the medium setting and the lower legs can swing freely. This is generally around 6 months (depending on how long baby’s legs are).
Make sure you’re getting a nice deep seat for little one (so bottom is lower than knees).
Once baby has full head control baby can also have arms out over the top of the carrier. For this, you’ll want the waistband higher (to shorten the panel).
