thanks man. As for tips, just practice plucking one note and letting it sustain for as long as possible by using vibrato. If you use nice slow controlled vibrato, you can keep the note alive longer than if you were doing a fast uncontrolled vibrato. And personally I like a nice slow, wide controlled vibrato. players like Christopher Amott, Joel Stroetzel, Tom Englund, Henrik Danhange, Steve Vai etc. all have nice vibrato.
