I was never that enthralled with the Kennedys, but looking back they tried to bring sanity to one of our major political parties that it has not seen since. And they were killed for it.
AS I recall, it had something to do w/Senator Kennedy's support for Israel at the time. I guess Mr. Sirhan opposed such a political view by a US Senator, although frankly why Sen. Kennedy didn't have Secret Service protection in light of his brother's assassination 5 years earlier coupled w/known threats to him at that time is beyond me! His security should have been beefed up w/SS agents a year or two earlier.

Nope it’s still unsolved a lot of the evidence was burned cuz those two guys were trying to set the building on fire and fire fighters destroyed the evidence putting out the fire

Everyone at the scene reported that the gun was nowhere near his head, which would include Suran extending his arm. Keep in mind that one of the people who wrestled Suran away was vehement that Suran was that close to Kennedy. Also, eyewitness testimony is good enough to stand in most courts of law, and the eyewitnesses in this case are consistent enough in their reporting that dismissing their accounts is incredibly irresponsible. The best way to settle this debate is if they found gun powder residue on Senator's Kennedy's head, because if the gun was literally inches away then their should have been gunpowder residue.
