I would leave the rad and electric fans, last thing you want to do is go backwards on engine cooling.

You can always tell the power by the fuses. 30 amp = 300 watts etc. That DEI amp is not great, the Polk subs are decent, but the US Acoustics amp is USA MADE by Zed audio. Very cool amp. I was sponsored by US Acoustics and won a world championship with them

Those are two piece balancers and over time the rubber piece between them tend to let the outer ring spin and become unbalanced. I had one completely separate and spin off on me while I was making a street pull. Sure will put a nasty dent in your hood. Those are subframe connectors. Adjustable upper and lower control arms in the rear. It even has Eibach lowering springs. The red ones are the Eibach Sportline lowering springs.

Love the content that has you working in your real wheelhouse . things that you know well and educate others on these older cars with character than pill shaped cars with all the big 4-500 hp . Please continue on with the real stylish cars that each have a unique body nd history that were obviously well built because they are still around . not like a rusted out Japanese scrap box !

Many of them I had. Including the hood, and subframe connectors H pipe, and under drive pullies. It really was an addiction back then. I would read every 5.0 mag and Muscle Mustangs issue cover to cover. My plan was to pull the engine and stroke it along with a Vortech Charger kit.

I’m not a big Fan of Fox Mustangs, but that’s a sharp looking car with some pretty cool upgrades. The paint is remarkably nice, so far as I can tell on my iPad. It seems to fly with the new fuel pump and sounds healthy.
Plus, it’s obvious you’re having a blast with it and your joy is infectious.
It sure is a lot of car for $2500! Did the guy agree to sell it for that before or after you showed him your gun? LOL!

Those ignition boxes are always a problem when old, computers also known for 3 of the capcitors leaking and causing MAF and fuel pump issues. All easy fixes just gotta find which are causing problems.

Things out in Oklahoma seem bargain-like when being so used to the prices on the NorthEast Coast. Mentioning a super-expensive battery, was thinking you'd say over $300. Cheapest car batteries around here start at $150. Any cheaper, & it's just a tractor-type battery. Also, for the car your getting, I'd expect same condition car here in the NE at $13,000 & judging by components upgraded, even higher.

I have a couple sets of Polk audio speakers in my house. They’re made in Baltimore Maryland USA represent Polk audio, makes some of the best speakers ever.
You can get the cheap ones at Best Buy for about $600 or you can get their top-of-the-line speakers for $20,000. And everything in between. I’ve always been impressed with POLK audio

These are LEGIT…..THE UGLIEST MUSTANG’S EVER PRODUCED!! I will NEVER understand why anyone liked these, then again I have to remember that this came along right around the same time as hair “metal” (which WAS NEVER EVER METAL AT ALL, Metallica,
Slayer, Testament WERE Metal…Cinderella, Slaughter, Bon Jovi, Ratt, Poison etc WERE/ARE NOT Metal) mullets, and guys wearing makeup.

Had a 89 LX with almost the same amp and sub box setup, except had the EQ and crossovers. Fosgate PUNCH amp wired in MONO with 2 12s, and the 4 channel running the other speakers. Did the 5 lug conversion with parts from a Lincoln, and had the SVO Turbo wheels

Your 5.0, is 1989 which in Canada those years around that time they were titled from Ford as Cobras. I have a 89 GT and my title says Mustang GT Cobra. Call late model restoration for verification of truth.
