I am not black but it enrages me how much these brands bait Golloria to face the backlash then turn up w her shade in a week to improve their PR....MIND you these folks can't even afford the blush but aee boot licking these billion dollar corps
This is why I respect that so many OG RUclipsrs, were honest about why they stopped doing reviews for brands. These brands are not dumb, they know exactly what they are doing. And we are over it, don't want to make darker skin tone makeup. Fine, I will take my money where I know I'm wanted. Remember y'all, these brands don't care about your outrage. They only care and see you as a dollar sign. So don't spend your money on it.
Rage-baiting … I‘m genuinely pissed major brands expanded all their shades by 200, then went out of business or discontinued the product all together because they bent over backwards years ago, and people are still whining. You know, I‘ve been listening to this for years. You know that part about not realizing you have privilege? BOOM 🤯
Some non black people actually GET OFF to our rage. Stop feeding them our energy. People will pay more brands to exclude certain people. Starve them, then copy them and market to each other.
I agree, if we stopped purchasing from these brands they’d change but thats not going to happen because not enough of people actually care about total inclusivity. People care up until the point that they can get what they themselves want.
As black women, we need to recognize the rage-baiting clock-it and don't react, don't engage, - just move accordingly.

I’ve always had a feeling that these brands were doing this on purpose. It’s disgusting.

@@jacquelinelugo5518 yup!!
That actually makes a lot of sense. I have always wondered how companies still haven’t made a good shade range by now
