The Guitarist, Carl Morner Ringstrom, what a beautiful player, loved his choices. That entire recording done in ONE TAKE, the sign of great players and consumate professionals. Great audio engineering, great video, and I get that Hendrik is the better known musician...but guys come on..when the guitar player is shredding solos the camera should be on the soloist. My one and only criticism.
This is some stellar music! The musicianship displayed by each of these musicians is remarkable. This is the first time I'm listening to this guitar player. Great playing and absolutely surreal tones. It filled the entire atmosphere of sound.
Great bass sound. Great bend. EBS amps and cabs are needed for a great sound. I've been playing EBS amps and cabs since 1995 and also using EBS effects. They are the World greatest Thank you Bo, Mats and all at EBS for all your support, through out all of this years.
Found this after I heard Henrik play on a cover of Boston’s Foreplay/Long time. Well worth the trip down this rabbit hole. This is proof that music is still evolving! Love it!
I hate to hear this awesome bands, then grab my guitar play a couple of power chords and solo with pentatonic scale, and then realized I suck at guitar xD
Why are Henrik's frets looking so wierd? Seems to me half of them aren't straight at all. I also looked at Carl's frets on his guitar. They're all straight and even. I've never seen ANY fretted instrument like Henrik's bass. Now I gotta go back over his stuff to see if he has other basses fretted like the one he's playing here.
Hi Nathaniel, those are True Temperament frets. A Swedish invention to improve intonation and for consistent tuning across the fretboard. It is more common on guitars, but Henrik uses it on most of his Mattison basses (if not all). Here's a link to the company truetemperament.com/
