Kinda followed this for my Prime Universe Thundertron and Nucleous, but I personally attached Nucleous's club to Thundertron's pauldron as sort of a double barrel cannon/shotgun. I'm quite pleased with it tbh.
I did something slightly different.. instead of resting the lions paws on calcitrons legs, i folded the legs down and attached his arms, giving him 4 arms to work with.

You can put a matrix from the earthrise line in their wheel cheast thing and have a backstory for the combiner
