Didn't he train the US team years ago?
***** Thanks for answering.Bart still coaching in the USA?I got to meet Eric Heiden when I lived in Calif years ago.I met him in June of 1980 before a bike race.I met Dan Jansen in the state I live in now,in 1996.I met Knut Johannsen in Oslo in 1987.I had my pix taken with him and later I realized in the picture we looked a lot alike.:)
Yes Gerard coached the US team during the Nagano Olympics Yes Bart was there at the same time. Gerard trained the longer distances.
Mark Cole I read that American skater Chris Witty now lives in Holland.
OK,thanks for the update on Witty.Has she skated in the 11 Cities Race?
I had read that Chris Witty was sexually abused by a male neighbor as a child and only talked about it a few years ago.I guess this contributed to her becoming a lesbian in some ways.
