Is everyone seeing weeds popping up? I swear it happened over night? Shoutout your favorite weed killer below! Thanks for watching...
I don't care bout anyone but I sub and liked for the “weeds and mushroom”.
Haha yes!!! Thank you for that. (Not a drug guy)
Yup! I got a few mushrooms lately.
Yeah I think that’s gonna be the norm. I’ve had so many coming up lately.
Great video and timely. Just moved to central New York from the Midwest and i have some weeds popping up that I have never seen before. Planning to use a T-Zone, 5-0-5 Fert, Natural Adjuvant mix. Have you ever tried that in warmer weather? I did buy the Roundup for Lawns last week for friends and my parents in IA/IL. The battery operated wand works really well for someone who doesn't want the trouble of a backpack sprayer. Thanks again for the info.
Yeah I think it’s the best weed spray for lawns for the “average” diyer. It’s perfect and should be in everyone’s shed haha. Sounds like you are using a solid combo there as well! Keep it up and thanks for watching 🍻
I walk around with 5 different bottle sprayers, carried in a five gallon bucket. I got tired of wasting this stuff, and my wife thinks I'm crazy anyway! Ornamec for bermudagrass (smokes it!), sulfentrazone (sedge), mesotrione (crab), 24d+Tricoplr (all of those summer weeds) & glyphosate (for everything else!).
Now that sound efficient! That seems very logical to me idk about your wife hahaha. Bet your lawn looks great
So it's okay for these mixes to be mixed and sit for a while? It seems I heard that' you are suppose to use it all?? but the more i think about it look at all the pre mixes sitting in the big box stores waiting to be purchased.
Yeah definitely. I would say there is probably a shelf life like everything else but it would be a long time. You would probably see some sort of crystallizing first.
Thanks for the info, really digging your channel.
Do you know if the RoundUp would be able to be sprayed in flowerbeds? I’m having an issue in my flowerbeds and Nutsedge.
Thank you I appreciate that!
It is not intended for flower beds but you could try and spray the weeds really close so there is no over spray. Or pull them... depending on how much.
@@TheLawngestYard pulling Nutsedge is a no no. I like the close up spray and avoiding overspray suggestion. Thank you
Haha yeah good point! Sledgehammer is a solid choice for you too if you need something more specific
Around February Amazon had a good deal for like $4 for a gallon of weed and grass killer with wand. So I went ahead and bought a gallon. I really liked having it ready to go and spray. And I got a really good kill with it as a bonus. Will definitely be doing it again.
No way? Nice find that’s awesome. I like that as well having something you can just grab and spray. Saves a lot of time.
They are everywhere in inferno Texas. Unfortunately 2-4-d cannot be used in St. Augustine lawns. Still wondering what I"m putting down Saturday - probably a light dose of MSM, which scares me a little. One guy recommended Image - and I used a hose-end Image spray before and the crabgrass and Viriginia buttonweed laughed at me. MSM will kill crabgrass, but it will apparently stunt St. Aug in this heat.
That makes a lot of sense. I didn’t think about that. 2,4-d is just so common up here that I figured it was great for all grass types 🤦♂️.
@@TheLawngestYard I just got back from the big box - I am going with Image - will let you know how it turns it - if I can't see any affect on the crabgrass - I will move to MSM. Thanks!
That sounds good let me know how it works because I’ve also heard good things about it.
