The sad part is their voices are being drowned out by the noise. If people think our outcome will be any different, they are fooling themselves. Seeing what’s happening reminds me of that duck tales episode when Huey duey and Louie used gyro’s replicator gun to copy coins. At first things went well but then the replicator energies spiraled out of control and the coins was multiplying at a phenomenal rate. Coins was everywhere on the streets…..and prices skyrocketed. In one part of the episode someone got on the bus and thr driver told him the fare was $20,000. He literally had to count up the coins for the fare, delaying the ride and frustrating the other passengers. Sounds like today with the govt printing all this money

Here is an idea. Buy a large building, install an extremely large vault. Store as much currency, gold and silver as you can inside. Maybe even make it a private bank. Since most of America's currency is actually electronic funds. Transfer large amounts into your paypal account or other digital wallets.

One should mention that this is rich people that benefits from capitalism talking about all bad cases of socialism just to scare people from voting for socialism in the us. Ask the people who worked just as hard as these guys in us but as workers what they think about it. If they get cancer and loose everything and gets no help from the government.
I know my father grew up under dictatorship and it really wasn't great you couldn't speak out if leaders were doing bad cuz you would get killed everybody made the same but everybody was poured just because you had a place to live doesn't mean that that's good you couldn't have ambition you couldn't do things that you wanted to do they told you how you lived your life because you use the things that you got from them and they destroyed every businesses they destroyed everything that's why my family came to the US

Ofc what u mention isnt good but too much capitalism isnt good either. U need to set a social safetynet for people and determin whats the absolute lowest standard for the country and make sure nobody ever gets below it. If they do they should get help from the government until they manage on their own.

The situation is not so open or advanced in Brazil (yet), but it is totally going that way. Specially these last 3 years.
There are so many laws being approved that move our country backwards in the name of "helping the poor", but these same poor need to use 2 to 3 times more money for basic survival needs (like food and/or water). Also, we had no education for the last 2 years (imagine how our children is gonna be prepared for this world). Everybody is waiting papa State to save them, while this same dad is out there smoking something while buying alcohol.
Even my Economy teachers cannot realize simple common sense that should be right in their faces! I feel like an outside being, like i am from a foreign intelligence or something! Because it cannot be so hard to see how much destruction we are doing moving the way we are! Our future generations have so much to pay because of our actions!

I believe the appeal of socialism and communism is that the argument that salary holds value more or longer in capitalism is no longer the case. Our salaries can't keep up with greed for profit margins.
Profits are not evidence of greed. They are evidence of efficiency. Think about this: how would a consumer ascertain the supposed level of greed possessed by a capitalist vendor? And even once said consumer determined this greed, why would that in and of itself compel him to give his money to the capitalist in a purchase? In the market you have to satisfy consumer wants while constrained by production costs. Therefore, capitalism makes it so that greed is not an effective business development strategy.
@@maambomumba6123 profit alone is not an indication of greed. However when salaries do not increase when CEO bonuses do and when profit margins increase are signs of greed.
"Profit margin" has been falsely equated to efficiency. Profit margin increases are most often due to cutting and not improved efficiency. Cutting quality, cutting staff, cutting benefits, cutting resources.
How would a consumer ascertain greed by a vendor? Is the vendor's business profitable? Does the vendor's business value the CEO at a disproportionate rate? Does the Vendor's business offer wages that are livable wages?
Socialism and communism will continue to grow as "capitalists" line their yachts while their entry level employees decide between food, shelter, or Healthcare.

Do you posit a specific margin of profit beyond which the affair becomes greedy?
If a productive process uses less resources by "cutting" it has by definition become more efficient both unto itself and from the standpoint of society since more resources are left to be used in other productive processes elsewhere in the economy.
Regarding CEOs pay: I notice you take an intellectual and moral high ground. Do you think the Directors/shareholders who pay the CEOs salary want to pay more than they have to? CEO labor supply is competitive as in any other labor market. If the Directors can maintain the level of executive talent at CEO position but pay less, why do you suppose they wouldnt do so? It would make them even more profitable. Of course, as per your theory, this is a proposition that is irresistible to the greedy capitalist that wants to gouge profit.

The discussion on the video is that salaries don't keep up with inflation in socialist economies. In capitalist economies salaries are not rising at a similar rate of profit margins.

They also discuss the problem of greed in socialist governments, which is true. They don't cover greed in capitalism though as if capitalism is without greed.
Be it a government, a corporation, CEO, whom or whatever, greed is the problem in all economies. Capitalists, like socialists, like to ignore who is greedy and its impact.
The arguments against socialism and communism need to also be considered against capitalism.

Socialism…social medicine is beneficial to the population. It ensures the majority of the population is healthy enough to actually perform work. If everyone were wealthy no work would be done.
