As a Venezuelan, I thanked Mrs D’Souza for sharing our truth! I agree in so many things but disagree in so many others ! That is the beauty of the free speech! I just know that I have to work for what I want , respect others no matter if you agree or disagree whit them, no matter if they are Mexicans (immigrants) or Americans or poor or rich !! All of us have the right to have a wonderful life but not at the expenses of others , no create or have hate on my heart or support any persons that use hate for personal benefits.
Now I am living in the United States , blessed and happy , always been a fan of Mr. Kiyosaki .. !! You open my eyes when I read your Rich Dad Poor Dad in Venezuela . Thanks

A few years ago i taught my daughter (6 years old) about the money, how it works and what the real value of that is. Back then I gave her an example of Venezuela as the country destroyed by the system of fiat money. We watched a videoblog of one of the polish travellers, who visuallized to her how is it like to take a bag of money just to pay for food. That day she asked me to take her to the mint and help her to buy her first silver, one-ounce coin (that was the equivalent of 2 months worth of her pocket money). She's already collected a few of them by now. The Venezuela is the example and synonym of monetary system fall in Poland (i think even more famous than Mozambique) . A little more optimistic story, more for Mr Kiyosaki, is when we played the 1st edition of Cashflow (borrowed from my cousin) - my daughter was so surprised how much "having a child" costs! Once she got 3 of them, she said "oh now, those kids will make me broke!". That was really funny moment! Thank you for inventing this game, Mr Kiyosaki!

Great interview. Even if I disagree with someone (which I do with her in some of her comments), I'm all for their ability to voice their opinion. Thats because I may say something people don't agree with and don't want my voice silenced either. We are repeating history in the worst way with the 'cancel culture" and people don't seem to understand how dangerous this is.
Confirmation bias and only listening to people who agree with you is a dangerous thing.

I am from Brazil. We Brazilian know what Venezuela means: we receive venezuelans every day running away from misery, and we receive all as we have strong to do.
I remember Warren's wealth tax speech. "It's just $.03 for every dollar over $1BILLION." To the person who doesn't understand the outcome of very large numbers and little numbers, there are consequences, good and bad. With that mind set, the billionares can afford $.03 for every dollar. Lets look at the math. One is worth $5 billion. So we'll tax you on $4 billion. 3% of $4 billion is $120 million. How does one pay for that without selling off assets? And if you are selling off assets, so are the other billionares. Who is going to buy when everyone is selling? If you noticed, Warren doesn't talk about that side of the wealth tax. So her followers won't look at it or even raise questions.

As an American with strong Colombian roots I hear quite a bit about the struggles in Colombia and our Venezuelan brothers. There is still much liberty and great thinkers here and America needs us to fight for her. We need to be careful to do all we can to not let this happen here and if too late then load up on ammo.

As a Cuban born and raised, I can tell you that the amount of control the government imposes to its people it’s enormous. You need to wake up and don’t let your freedom be taken away… you’ll regret it.

I was in Caracas in 1995 roughly. We took a tour up in the mountains of a glass factory. On the way there I saw poverty I could not believe. Corrugated metal shacks, basically lean to, type construction. With a ditch for sewar. It was disgusting. Down in the city which looked like New York, there was little Spanish architecture,was a prosperous city. I think their currency was printed by our federal reserve at the time. The rotisserie at the second floor of the Hilton was great I had a friend who got screwed in the lost Cristinas mine. I have a client who went to the world court to get American investments back when they socialize the mine. The problem is, these people are at the point of a gun. They’re not living in liberty or freedom. There’s a statue of bolivar in Caracas town Square near Cathedral. I hope that doesn’t happen again. My mom side fled eastern Slovakia a century ago, to get away from that kind of crap. I see it coming to the United States, and it horrifies me, when I think of my cousins kids.
DIRECT HIT To socialism. The origin of the international socialist founds comes in grand part from Venezuela.

By the way, chavez and his system gave us lights about what to care the most. Me in personal, I do have Crystofer Columbus as one of my first heroes. Timeless example of constance, dare and knowledge. His biography must be read to our sons.

It is really hard to believe, that with all the progress, the whole world will go to socialism with just a click of fingers. I was born in communism, from 12-18 watched my country to recover and start to grow, 18- till now lived and enjoyed the possibilities of capitalism, and again will go back to something like USSR ... I do understand , and see, that it is getting worse by every day. So many rich and powerful people, so many quite rich, do they really want this? Who is behind all this plan ?

I remember meeting a teacher in 99’ from Venezuela who was in full panic about Chavez. She was whitish but most Venezuelans I knew were various races. This is the first time I have heard about the race war. But of course it is an easy target easily obtained but deadly consequences

Is it not coincidental that In August 2018, Venezuela declared that it would cease pricing its oil in US dollars and instead use Euros, Yuan and other currencies. Then immediately after that, inflation skyrocketed?
Wasn't because of that , but the corruption of the politicians , who said and promised one thing but did something totally different in the end , typical politicians , don't trust any of them , anywhere !

My country, Spain, is governed now by a party which advised Hugo Chavez and Maduro about how to become presidents and how to govern under socialism. It is called Podemos, but a former president of us (Zapatero) started it all, he s claimed to own gold mines in Venezuela now. The company in charge of vote recount was Indra, in our last election, connected to the machines she s talking about.
The world needs people to work in order to put food on the table, have a table, have roof over one’s head, have clothes on one’s back, have anything. So the pure capitalist ideology is quite flawed. Great if people can do both, but in all reality not all people can be wealthy or the system will not work. Thanks for educating.
