another great campground in Georgia is Red Mountain State park just north of Marietta , amazing views from a high point with beautiful camp sites and huge deers .
Welcome to N. GA. We hope you come see us again. We are going somewhere close to where we live and go see the the gorgeous colors we have in N.Ga. Come back and visit soon.
We moved from New Jersey to N. Ga in 1991 and stayed there in the off season (winter) a tornado went thru and we just loved it so much! If y’all ever go up that way again go to Cloudland Canton, The Pockets and Rocktown in Lafayette! I’ll give y’all more re ideas if you’d like. We lived there over 25yrs and raised 3 boys and had TONS of places in I go!
It was great meeting you guys !! thank you for the tag of our youtube channels! We will have to meet up soon since we only live ten minutes apart lol. Great video by the way
Thanks for introducing us to this state park! Lovely park! Great video! Looking forward to the amicilola falls video! We were just there to go to the Hike Inn inside that park You guys would love the Hike Inn! Blessings!
We have camp there I would have to say it was probably one of my favorite camping trips. As we had no plans the whole week we were there. We walked the trails there and we went to the big water fall that you went on and done the zip line and done the second level there as a Christmas present for kids. Was an amazing trip. While we were there after Christmas they had a polar bear challenge and I done it. Amy take not I said after Christmas so imagine how cold that was
@@GloriousDayAdventures Thanks, I'll look up the Injinji too. I like the frequency to help with pain and getting tired faster. With the thin hose-like toe socks I cut the bottom out a little so I have contact with the frequency sock but they are too think to wear anything thicker with them. Sorry, it's hard to explain typing.
Thanks for showing the primitive campsite. I'm a tent camper only and glad you showed it to us.
I always like to show the primitive sites when I can cause you want to know what to expect before you get out there.
Hiking sticks are the best things ever…😊
Yes they are!

We saw signage for the Hike Inn but I didn't know what it was. I'll have to look that up. Thanks!
@@GloriousDayAdventures Yep, right up your alley for sure!
The tower trail is one of my favorite short trails.
We would like to know what it was like towing your runaway! While you were filming on the drive, you could have talked about your towing experiences.
It pulls so well we don't even notice the Runaway behind the Subaru.

Oh, i can image it was cold after Christmas. I just love North Georgia!
👍👍
Can you tell me what kind of harness Skylar wears?
We got it at Petsmart. It is made by Arcadia Trail.
Looks like a great trip. No way I believe Amy was up at 7am though. 😂
I know, right! Doesn't happen that often if can help it! 😀
I use global frequency socks and very thin toe socks (like hose) and my toes, legs don't bother hiking now.
When we did more extensive longer hiking, we had Injinji toe sock liners under our smart wool socks. I'll have to look into that again.
@@GloriousDayAdventures Yes, happy toes and feet are so important. :)

Live 20 min from there
Beautiful area!

LOL! Good question! :)
