there are 3 mountain ranges in Georgia; the blue ridge and cohuttas are very distinctly different from the long ridgelines in the northwestern part of the state. - like lookout mountain, the johns mountain WMA and cloudland canyon - they look nothing like the Cohuttas or the Blue Ridge.

WAY TO GO BABE!!! 😊🌲👏 Fort Mountain is so incredibly underrated! I couldn’t believe no one had ever told me about it. A Must-See in North Georgia. The view is absolutely spectacular and goes on and on for miles!!! 😍 The Historical aspect is also incredibly fascinating. 😃 The older I get, the more I sincerely appreciate history. 📚

I believe there are also waterfall hikes in Fort Mountain State Park. Definitely a good place to spend a few days doing a deep dive exploring the area. Good video! I loved the drone footage!

I own a cabin in the Cohutta wilderness. If you ever actually wanted to experience it. I can show you.
Cohutta wilderness is the largest wilderness on the east coast. It’s like the Smokies in Georgia. Much more wild and remote than the blue ridge region in the northeast part of the state.

There’s 4,000ft peaks in the Cohutta range. The southernmost spruce fir forest is on top of bald mountain in the Cohuttas. The state’s wildest river, Jacks/Conasauga is in the Cohuttas. Also the most pristine.
There are more trilliums on grassy mountain in the Cohuttas than any mountain on earth.
I know these and countless other treasures of this range. This is my favorite place on earth and I’ve also traveled a lot.

Nice production, dude! I found your channel looking for videos on the Rock Fort, as I live in Georgia and have heard about it many times. Didn’t have high expectations but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. You could easily be on the Travel channel or History channel! Consider me subscribed :)
Now to make a trip to Fort Mountain..

Maybe the wall was built by time travelers. That's got to be at least as good as the Welsh building it.

I live in the area and have been to this overlook many times and most of those times I was able to observe the pair of bald eagles that nest there and have been for a long time.

      I believe it’s Rock Eagle.
I believe there’s a connection between The Georgia Guidestones and Rock Eagle.
