Depending on what the source of stress is, I find a lot of people spend too much time thinking of exrtemes. Whether it's focusing on worst case scenario's or worrying about one-sided political views or ideals. Every person and scenario is different. There is nuance in a lot of situations/problems people refuse to acknlowledge. There are things we choose to ignore because it's convenient for our arguments. I hope everyone can some day let go of the worry over things they can't control. There is only so much we can do. But at least we can be good for each other.

I remember going on a camping trip with my grandfather and great uncle when I was a kid and they where having a convo about something I wasn't paying attention to but I specifically remember my great uncle giving me the side look and saying "it's not what happens, it's what you do after that counts" then he winked at me while taking a sip of his port
This was a lovely, calming video, and I'm sorry it took me so long to watch. My technique to stave off anxiety is writing. Just the act of writing down my thoughts forces me to give them form and structure and explanations, which forces them to HAVE form and structure and explanations, which 9 times out of 10 makes the path through to the other side much clearer.
