I wanted to thank you for taking the time to make this how to tutorial! I know making videos is very time consuming. How fortunate we are that there are talented and kind people willing to share their expertise with us. And thank you especially for making the pattern in such a way (marked measurements), that those of us who do not have printers are able to make the pattern also. You are a gem!
Thank you for the awesome pattern! The first mask I made was out of quilting cotton which makes the mask a bit too stiff. My second was from a scrap of challis and it was so much nicer since it's a flowier material.
This is exactly the type of face covering I have been looking for. Now I need to figure out how to make it for my tweenie granddaughters! (12yrs old). Or are you planning to make one for teens and pre-teens? Thank you so much!
Nice! I’m going to try it! I think here in northern 🇨🇦 (and any cold place) having it cover your neck will be good for the winter cold. I am curious tho to know why you hand sewed the edges? Is it easier because of the elastics? TIA😊
Thank you for this. It would help a lot if the measurements were written out. Stopping a going the video to write them out and copy to pattern makes it very frustrating to do.
You can slow down the video. That's what I do. It helps a lot. 'Settings' (on a phone) is the 3 dots at the top right of video. Go there and choose 'playback speed.' I can't remember where that option is on a computer but it's there. You can speed it up too.
Awesome video. Please show me how to add a nose bridge, filter pocket and adjustable ear loops. I would also like to make it shorter so my neck is not covered. You are very talented. Thank you
Thanks for liking it. You can also slow the speed of the video. Tapping on the three dots on right side of the screen gives you the option of setting the playback speed.Hope it helps.
Linda, I didn't know the metric system either. I got a 12 inch ruler from the dollar store and that solved the problem. Now I like using cm instead of inches. We may be the only Country that doesn't use the metric system. 😕
@@Loruca Americans were never taught the metric system in school. Some of us didn't know about cm till we started making masks. I know I never paid attention to that side of a ruler. There was never a need to - until now.
@@thatgirlthatsme I'm Canadian. I grew up with feet and inches, and then Canada switched to metric. All my rulers and measuring cups have both measurements, so I'm perfectly at ease either way. We haven't completely switched, though, as we older people, while at home with metric, still default back to the other way in our thinking.
Appreciate your observation ! And thanks for bringing to notice. There has been a typo error in the clip. Its 14 cm , one that I have written down. Sorry for the mistake.
It is time consuming and having to stop and rewind, but once template is done, mask is easy. I made a pattern out of brown paper. Hey, it's free, so you can make it. Or you can buy a ready made mask in the grocery store.
The top measurement you have 16 on the picture but you wrote 14 on the paper. Which one please? Do you have a clear photo with all the measurements on it? Any help would be great! A lot people are wanting this type of pace covering and I can use all the help I can get! Thanks so much!
I've been looking for a tutorial for this type of face cover. Thank you. What length elastics did you use?
Hello ! You’re welcome 😊. Elastic is 10 cm. Thanks for watching.

Noted! Thanks for liking it . Just try slowing the speed of video in setting ,if it helps.

Awesome video. Please show me how to add a nose bridge, filter pocket and adjustable ear loops. I would also like to make it shorter so my neck is not covered.
You are very talented. Thank you
Thanks for the appreciation! You can add the nose bridge in between the two attach pieces after turning it inside out, and do sew along it.
Love the look - I found it very hard to follow and take notes doing it as fast as you were.

HI LOVE IT 😍 HOW LONG WAS THE ELASTIC😊?? THANKS 🙏
Thanks for watching. Its 10 cm . My pleasure!
Thank you for the great video!
Glad you liked it! Thanks to you too!
Do you have a template that can be downloaded or printed? I live in the US and do not use the metric system. Can you please help me out?
Are your rulers, yard sticks, measuring tapes in inches only? Mine have both inches and centimeters, and so I have no problem either way.

Hi what measurements do you suggest for my 3 year old granddaughter?
Hi! Thanks for your interest. I think 20 cm by 18 cm should be fine.
Muito obrigada por compartilhar. Estava a procura de uma máscara lenço já tem tempo e não achava uma que ficasse tão perfeita. Gratidão.
Thank you so much for watching and liking it. I would recommend using a soft fabric, one that is not too stiff for this mask. I hope you like it!
In the clip said 16cm. but you wrote down 14cm.Which one is the correct number?
