  • Chairing meetings is an essential leadership skill, but one that is not taught in most organisations. Avoid repeating my mistakes by watching this video!

With those eyes I wouldn't be able to concentrate on the meeting anyway.

Good video but the stupid music overpowers his voice, a big him very hard to hear. I find this very distracted.

Hi, thank you for your sharing. I would like to ask you a question. If someone in the meeting takes too much time to talk and expresses their ideas, what should I say to stop them 😢❤

Thanks for watching! It’s much easier if you set expectations at the start of a meeting or item, to clarify how long the item has and what it’s purpose is (update, discussion, decision).
Then you can refer back to this if someone is taking up too much time. For example, if it was a 15 minute discussion item, you can interrupt and say ‘sorry to interrupt, you’re making some great points, but we only have 15 minutes for this item and I would like to bring other people into the discussion’.
