I have 2 pairs. The first I put 1000km on. A lot of which was gravel trail.
The second pair I reserve for key long workouts and my first marathon race.
It is my favourite long distance shoe.
I have several super shoes, for me, it is the best at anything over HM.
Its clunky to this day , I have retired it to a training shoe , I think Adidas is not for me
man, if the rods are really breaking then that's disappointing to hear cause im saving up for this shoe, i hear that it's a very consistent shoe. I intuit that you probably have a lighter foot strike than me, i guess I'm going for the sky paris instead
These shoes are not meant to last , but they look really good and the marketing is 💯..My pro 2 has the cracking sound too. I ran a half marathon 2 days ago and whenever I went close to people with the pro 2 or 3 i heard the same sound..
@@ursulinenyandindi3051 that's interesting, thanks for letting me know!
@@yuree08 am not sure but, it could be a plate is better than rods. I haven't seen anyone claiming this on a plated shoe.
@@ursulinenyandindi3051 well for what it's worth i think the rods or the forked plates that work independently are prolly better than a whole plate design, because my VF3s kinda hurt my left foot. That's why i was hoping for rods instead to do the job
My rods are fine at 280 miles , I'm wondering if it's because I'm not a fast runner ( around 6.5 mph, 200 miles a month) . Maybe they break under harder use ? I have a second new pair for when mine are poooped but won't buy again after that as they wear out to quickly ( I have ASICS noveblast MK1 with 1300 miles on them , the rubber is going but they're still giving a great ride 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
