Making Bar Chimes - DIY Percussion

- I bought a Yamaha snare from a guy a few months back and he brought a bag of stuff he was planning to throw. In it was these loose chimes. I need some chimes! So I drilled a piece of wood and strung 'em together...
are those all on one string of continuous fishing line?
Yes. But I would recommend doing a string for each chime if possible. One string for all works, but they get uneven and it's somewhat difficult to straighten them out.
@@TonyRadford Ok thanks for that info as I was thinking I would use one string. I just don't like the look of a bunch of cut pieces and knots. Thinking of using twine instead perhaps.
De que material son los tubos?
Cuáles son las medidas?
How did you string them?
I used heavy fishing line
what kind of metal to make it
I didn't cut the metal... The tubes were already cut. I just cut and drilled the wood bar and then assembled with wire. I think these tubes are brass, but they could be anodized aluminum...I'm not 100% sure. I have some other chimes that are made with hollow aluminum tubes, whereas these are solid.

Hi, I'm from Vietnam. I really need it now. Can you give me the specs to do it. Examples are the length, diameter, and material of the pipes. Thank you very much.
