- Join us on an explorative and exhilarating overlanding journey into Botswana, and, along the Namibian Caprivi Strip.
This turns out to be an adventure like no other, as we visit the majestic Makgadikgadi salt flats, gain entry into a very exclusive part of the Okavango delta by way of helicopter, and encounter wildlife up close and personal.
Heading North we experience a once in a lifetime campsite. A campsite like no other and one that will appeal to every adventure enthusiast on the delta’s main Kovango river, on a barge, with vehicles in tow and fully set up for a splendid 2 nights. This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity as we visit Ngepi camps on the edge of the Bwabwata National Park, Namibia, spend a night at Livingstone camp on the edge of the Nkasa Rupara National Park, and, close out this episode with our final night at Elephant sands campsites. Brilliant.
Experience the thrill of this wild adventure, overlanding like you've never seen before. Stick with us and become adventure driven.
Thank you to friends made and places explored. Thank you to the production crew and our mates:

Awesome episode,. U guys are amazing, thse time u really traveled to the epicenter of okavango delta.
Great video Darrell. Good to see Edward Bath and Ryan Crocker helping produce these videos. My only complaint is the proper way to film from a helicopter is how I once did it. Stand out on the skid with a harness and lean out at 45 degrees holding the camera (I had a big BetaSP broadcast camera on my shoulder). Trust me the shots are great and your heart and bladder will never be the same again 🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks for the comment Michael! We appreciate it very much. Unfortunately, we weren't able to set up for those type of shot out of the helicopter but will keep that in mind for future reference.
I always follow Edward Bath and Ryan Crocker videos. Thank you for showing what we can do and where we can visit on our next trip. Enjoyable for some of us armchair travellers
Thanks for the comment! We are glad you enjoyed the video.
Wow , camping and fishing on the Barge, now that is something to plan for the future. What a trip that must have been.👌
Glad you liked it! Please leave your email address and we'll send you more info on the barge.
I remember having a fuel tank rupture in my youth in rural KZN, and no one stopped to help, except a gentleman like the one you helped
It is a courtesy and our unspoken rule to help where you can. Paving the way forward. Thanks for the comment.

I am still a student in Potchefstroom, but your videos make me work harder to be able to experience this hopefully in the near future. Keep posting and thank you.
We are so glad that this helps motivate you. Soon you will be able to travel Africa in your rig. Just make sure to let us upgrade your suspension on your future rig ;-)

@ed, what’s happened to your accelerator leg?
Awesome video. I would like to get notifications but it does not allow that for made for kids channel. Perhaps change that?
Thanks for the comment! We have changed the settings and you will be able to get notified of our new videos.
Did he said somalies
The music is so discordant with the natural countryside. I have to watch it on mute.
I do hope this opening up of an OL channel means support for those of us who don’t have Toyotas (like me in my Ford Everest) who’s had indifferent (at best) responses to enquiries for help in upgrading…
Thanks for the comment! We do offer support on other brand vehicles. You are welcome to enquire and we will assist.
@@OppositeLockAfrica great, pls let me know what you have for a 3.2 Everest
Surely! Please provide us with an email so we can get in touch.
Photography is great, but the rush does not give credit to the area(s) visited. It certainly did not sell the area other than a bunch of petrol heads roughing it. You can do a lot better.
I'm trying to figure out the psychology behind this critique, These are 100% Overlanders doing something they don't inherently do in their usual series, this is generally an awesome episode..
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately we were limited and time but we will be going back to Caprivi for a longer trip in the future.
