Thanks @jptheinstallguy, this is the only video I found that shows how to do the highlander install using the factory brackets (the oithers have you use the crappy plastic brackets that come with the dash kit). Much appreciated!!

I have a question I have a Toyota Highlander sport 2008 I want to install a double din system. Then controls on the steering wheel is the same for all the system the one on your links??

Would you know of an after market harness to bypass the JBL amp? I really do not want to cut any factory wires. I want to connect my Pioneer 80 prs direct to my kicker speakers bypassing the JBL.

Thank you for posting this! My factory radio has started cutting in and out (sometimes only the right side speakers work and sometimes the entire sound system screams a high pitched whine) an electrician friend told me something is probably coming loose in the wiring harness behind the radio to cause the issue, going to disassemble mine and check it out, any other thoughts would be appreciated though

Btw mine is an 08 limited. My radio setup includes the touch screen navigation system
I had to take mine apart for a different reason, but when I put it back together none of my controls are working. Mine came with the navigation system and none of the buttons around the screen are working. Pleaseee help!

i got a list of tools i use everyday for my installs in the description they are called panel removal tools
get an android head unit which has the OEM look and retains the use of the dials. Because this fascia choice with the head unit in the middle, does not look good.
