-Shepard needs to be player controlled not have a Hawke situation like in DA:I
-Shepard is in their prime still [32 years old] and they don't feel age take it's toll until 70+
-Shepard is a Specter/N7 who has just started their run. The Reaper plot only took 3 years in lore and it's only a small footnote in terms of galactic history.
-In terms of Dreadwolf imo stop doing multiple plotlines that don't matter.
-Glyph uploading himself inside a Geth Platform makes a lot of sense imo. Legion is dead and Glyph is the only synthetic we have a small connection with. To have them as a companion, talking about their time spending with past shadow brokers, revealing secretes, and being useful on the field sounds epic.
Agreed about Shepard still being very young. There's so much left to explore with them, and I hope we get that chance in the next game.

The new relay is a joint effort between Cerberus and the Aliance. Hackett is the link between the two entities.
When Hackett contacts Shepard for the first time in ME2...
He never shows any surprise at the fact the Shepard is alive.
He never admonished Shepard for working with Cerberus.
Why wouldn't Hackett demand that Shepard immediately report back to Aliance brass the first chance he get's? Shepard is essentially Aliance property.
Hackett believes in the Reaper's. He knows that Shepard working with Cerberus is a goid thing. We also know that Hackett (via the arrival DLC) has worked with Cerberus in the past.
I think Hackett may have talen part in project Lazarus or at the very least had intimate knowledge of the project.
Hackett has been working with Cerberus the whole time.
Maybe he is one of the 3 heads? I don't know if he worked for them, maybe with them or just spied on them but he definitely has a lot of secrets. He knows everything we need, which is too convenient and suspicious. I like him so I hope we'll get to see more of him.
Arrival takes place after the Suicide Mission, everyone already knows Shepard is alive by then.
Ashley/Kaidan on Horizon literally say the Alliance was tipped off on Shepard being alive, which the Illusive Man confirmed he was the one who leaked it.
Interesting theory, would be wild if true! I personally think Hackett wasn't surprised at Shep's being alive and with Cerberus because their first contact was in the Arrival DLC.
It seemed like that whole DLC was more set-up for Shepard needing to be grounded at the start of ME3, so not sure if they put in dialogue for Hackett on how everything went down in ME2.
IIRC, there was a bit of dialogue on Shepard's choices to side with Cerberus after Arrival in the med clinic...but again, it mainly seemed like setup for the beginning of ME3.
Shepard stopped being “Alliance Property” when they became a Spectre technically speaking, it gets said multiple times in the first game that Shepard doesn’t answer to them anymore & that Hackett’s missions in ME1 are essentially Shepard helping them because they are and continue to be loyal to the Alliance, Arrival is post Suicide mission & Shep mentions “I’m surprised to see you on a Cerberus ship” & Hackett will say “I’m not so sure this is a Cerberus ship anymore Commander” and the only reason Shep is grounded & goes back to Earth is a political move to avoid war with the Batarians before the Reapers show up
i’ve always felt like there’s more to Hackett. I also think the Alliance learned of the Reapers (and maybe the Crucible) from the Mars archive long before the events of ME1

This is a wonderful speculative discussion, I’m about halfway through, and it occurred to me - based on what was said about Cerberus and Miranda, I could see Miranda try and take what’s left of Cerberus and use it for the Alliance, specifically, to be a branched division like ‘Section 31 of Starfleet’ in Star Trek, an organisation that is technically part of the whole, but separate and virtually unaffiliated, with the specific intent of doing the “hard stuff” that starfleet(or in this case, the Alliance) won’t do.
I actually remember that there was originally going to be an ending where the reapers would’ve been lured to the relays and then Shepard would give the order to detonate them, effectively taking out the reapers, thus Shepard’s survival.
I just found yours and Kala’s channel and love your all’s content that you make! I really wanted to thank you for your theory videos especially the unhinged ones because not only have you given me actual hope that Shepard will come back BUT after being burned out from andromeda your black hole relay theory and multiverse theory has made me really excited for the next game. I know they are just theories but it has refreshed me and has me wanting to replay the trilogy and see what kinda secrets I’ve missed. THANK YOU AND STAY UNHINGED!

Imo getting shepard back without the other crewmembers from the previous games would be even worse than not getting him back. So I hope everyone comes back.
13:09 - Maybe the alliance-cerberus reviver role can be filled by either Kelly or Jacob if Miranda died? I don't think their personalities fit the role well tho. Or maybe we can bring back some of the Quiet Eddy's black ops scientists or even the HOME group from "Initiation" book, since they were already a black ops group and were heavily involved with cybernetics altered human and SAM kernel incidents, this might also explain why we saw a human-like synthetic in the teaser.
It's tricky to make that role for Jacob or Kelly for the same reason as Miranda. I think all 3 of them can die, and in one playthrough too. If anything it'll have to be a character like Traynor who can't die, or a newly introduced Cerberus relation.
And for the new N7, I think that because of the heavy pro-human & AI narrative in the Andromeda books that the new N7 could be an AI developed by the Systems Alliance.

A Cerberus return will be very difficult after what happened at Sanctuary. On one hand, if someone like Miranda wanted to revive what she believed was the original intent of the group, why not just create a new group with different branding to avoid that baggage? To bring it out of the darkness as an ally working with the Alliance would require some exceptional writing!! This is a group that sacrificed humans without a second thought after all. i agree with you that if this is diehard Cerberus of old, it would need to be a secretive group working quietly behind the scenes like (as you suggest) was happening in ME1. We see in real life how horrible groups can be very public at one time in history, then be forced into the background and sit quietly for years to once again rise so anything is possible!
As to the return of Shepard, most likely too difficult and definitely unwise given the fan bases dedication to "their" Shepard. Best they start the new game after Shepard's potential timeline with a back story for her/him. Perhaps if you imported a save from the trilogy they present a Codex of "The Shepard" based on your Shepard's life and death? Perhaps the choices offered were actually the Catalyst child trying to indoctrinate Shepard to move them away from destroying the Reapers and there really was only one choice in reality? Such fun theorizing.

Altough sleeper Cerberus wouldn't make much sense for many reasons. After Reapers are defeated, humanity or maybe Systems Alliance and Shepard from alien perspective are heroes. How could a terrorist organization, that has lost central control, and had huge reputation dent after failed Citadel invasion, recruit more people at this point? Who would like to work for them, if common man can live happy and be treated positively by aliens in Systems Alliance? I just think Cerberus is done for as organization. The ideology exists, but many political ideas can exist, without being feasible to go forward with at all times.

I can't be the only person who thinks the supposed angara is a (male) quarian. Though judging by the leg bend I can see how an angara would be more pluasible.
Their clothing *very* closely matches angaran styles over quarian ones. And I personally can't see their head as anything but an angara's.
The endings could be new powers for your player character
I am one of those older players. In my 60's, only started playing ME LE just shortly after it came out, but raged quit of over a year, then picked it back up a year and a half ago, and completely fell in love with it. I also enjoyed Andromeda. Also play DAI, though haven't played the first 2. There are really quite a few seniors who play games. I just hope I can play ME5 when it does come out, mostly due to arthritis issues in my hands. But yea, for us older gamers we try not to get too hype for games that may not be out till 6 or more years just because we don't know if we will be around, or physically be able to play them.

How the Geth survived? They destroyed the mass relay nearest to the Dyson Sphere (without it destroying the cluster) themselves, before the crusible were activated. Hense the debris field in the trailer.
Why? They wanted to cut them selves off from the rest of the galaxy, to live in peace..originally..
It doesnt have to be andromeda for geth/quarians. They can be present in next ME by simply not being around Rannoch/Mass relay during Shepards shenanigans
If we are factoring in the Destroy ending, The Geth would have had to be outside of the galaxy when the Crucible activated, it was a galaxy wide effect, using the relays as transmitters. Either that or they simply say they were re-created post-destruction by the quarians somehow.
Jardaan (Geth)? Who attacked the Quarian Ark? It makes a lot of sense that it would be the Geth, if they were already there. For 300 years no one knew what the Geth were up to.
IIRC, it's explained in the book Annihilation that the attack on the quarian ark was by a mysterious group who's identity isn't revealed. I truly wonder if the authors of the Andromeda books were told inside info that'll connect to events in subsequent games...

And one more thing that jogged a memory, when you 2 were talking about black holes. Wasn't Tali investigating a star that was aging to fast in ME3? Was the Geth Artificially aging a star with dark energy to create a black hole, maybe? Would go a long way in supporting your Black Hole theory.
@@capt_c2725 I'm not sure if it was confirmed what the geth were doing to the star, but they were definitely doing something to age it faster. But yes, agreed, the geth were up to something fishy from the events of ME2 onward...

One thought I had about the geth standing next to what is presumably Liara - what if it's Glyph uploaded into a geth platform to better integrate and utilize the network that the geth share? Who benefits from centuries of information, star charts, weapons schematics, and other technological innovation? The Shadow Broker.

First let me say I've watched videos on both of your channels and I love most of your insight into all things Mass Effect. I've played Mass Effect Trilogy about 15 times both pre and post Legendary Edition, and I'm currently on my 3rd playthrough of Andromeda (which I think was a waste of time and money for both Bioware and players). Not sure why they even bothered with Andromeda in the first place. I recently watched a video from Kala about the hunt for shepard. She makes some valid points there however I think she forgot there was another species on the Citadel when shepard pushed the panic button. So my theory is that in perfect destroy ending the keepers rescue shepard and hide them somewhere so they can nurse them back to health. They do this because their only purpose was to facilitate the reapers but now that shepard released them form reaper control they need new purpose in life. Also, there is one species who would be perfect for hunting shepard.....the rachni. My personal preference would be for the rachni and the Zhu's Hope colonists to team up because now they share similar communication methods. I'm curious on your thoughts about these possibilities.
Interesting thoughts. I like the keepers saving Shepard's body one, but there's hasn't been any evidence of that being teased so far. And with the rachni hunting for Shepard and/or Zhu's Hope colonists, there's a lot of player decisions that could result in both of those factions being wiped out. So I think that the likelihood of a rachni / Zhu's Hope plot line coming back to find Shepard is low, even though it'd be nostalgic to the original game.
@@paragonseven Thanks. The Zhus Hope/Rachni thing is just a personal preference/future wish of mine. I know a lot of player decisions are required for that to happen though. I strongly believe the Keepers are the ONLY one's who could rescue Shepard in the Citadel wreckage.
@paragon7 I think ED is the benefactor. I remember a video of you saying the benefactor is female but the head didn’t look human. What are your thoughts on ED possibly being the Benefactor?
I think its unlikely because EDI didn't exist until Mass Effect 2, which took place in the year 2185. The Andromeda Initiative with the aid of the Benefactor began in 2176, long before EDI existed.
I personally think the Benefactor is someone unknown that we haven't met before in the trilogy.
