I have seen many people redesign things... but I've never seen anyone redesign dinosaurs WITH TRADITIONAL ARTSTYLE nonetheless. Great job ! Also, It's nice that you put your little "warm up practice" before going into the actual redesign.

The way the main dinosaur's front legs have KNEES on them makes me cringe. I don't know what the creators were thinking. They didn't just not know what dinosaurs look like, they didn't know what ANIMALS look like. They could've looked up a picture of a CAT as a reference image and he would've looked better than he does in the movie. And that says something, since an apatosaurus is nothing like a cat. I never watched the movie because the designs break my soul in a way movie designs seldom do. There's ugly designs, and then there's downright confusing designs. For me, confusing ones are worse, because it just makes you lose faith in humanity that someone could make such a bafflingly awful mistake. At least ugly designs are just an aesthetic preference.

@@amn2760 mmmmmmmmmmm... JFC didn't say that T. rex was the biggest dinosaur ever, and it also didn't show Triceratops time jump several times. And at least with JFC, you could tell what the creatures were supposed to be.

Give realism into those childish cartoons which made dino lovers into so many people!
I really hope to see more redesigns, I already got some ideas. Maybe some redesigns of Dinosaur Train characters, as well as a redesign of the Giganotosaurus from JW: Dominion.

Oh dude, I love doing accurate redesigns. Occasionally i would take a whack at revamping Primal Rage. It's not easy mixing a cobra skull with a theropod's, let me tell you.

My entire drawing career is based around funky little animal designs- most of which are taking part of dinosaur inspired looks. I am a complete SUCKER for realistic proportions and actual uses for stuff like horns and claws. This video is amazing!

The raptor design looks better than any piece of art I'm able to create in my lifetime, they look soo good. My only complaint would be Arlo's head in the second depiction, it doesn't look "right" to me but then again the original designs from The Good Dinosaur weren't either. 10/10 underrated channel please keep doing this
i would kill for a realistic rendition of a spinosaur with the Jurassic Park color scheme. spinos are my favorite, and I feel like you would kill it with that color pencil skill of yours!

this is right up my alley! if there's one thing i desperately want gone from pop culture theropods its the curled-in hands. at this point its just bad character design and ugly, creating a big, blocky area that draws the eye to it. even naked raptors with proper arm placement look more aesthetically pleasing.

In the beginning what people can love dinosaurs, your speaking facts because I love them ever since I was a kid,I think my fav dinosaur as a kid is the triceratops maybe because of their horns
Triceratops is one of my favourites as well, it’s gone down the list because of other ceratopsians (namely Torosaurus and pachyrhinosaurus) but it’s still great

You know something funny, the whole cannon reason in the jurassic franchise regarding that all the dinosaurs are inaccurate is that ingen, biosyn, and other creators don't give the slightest shit if they look accurate. That is litterally the in universe reason.

Here are a few:
- Gwangi
- Brachiosaurus from the 1925 The Lost World film.
- Vastatosaurus Rex, the descendant of T. Rex.
- Venatosaurus, descendants of “velociraptor”, (though I suppose a better substitute would be Dakotaraptor).
Hope I see more of this and maybe try to redesign primal. I would like to see primal art style on a fully accurate dinosaur
