As a person that used to be in the marching band, I can vouch that we need our space, we don’t need to be focused on how we’re going to maneuver around a person and remember our dance moves on top of whatever instrument we’re playing keeping that safe as well as remembering our notes in music. It’s a lot and I don’t know why these people are standing there looking crazy instead of moving out the way.
OMG, I totally agree, and there is way too many of them all up in the band's face and I know they are part of the school media but they need to invest in a long-distance camera and they shouldn't be allowed on the field during halftime either, it's too distracting.
Exactly I wanted to jump through the screen and push their butts out the way I can’t believe that they were interfering. Like move out the way so that the band can entertain March to perfection.
Being one of the very first PVU Black Fox, during the era of 1973 to 75. I commend the outstanding PVAMU"S today's Marching Storm for maintaining the outstanding PERFORMANCES in each and every game. Love theses drum majors! This video however was ruined by the annoying people rudely standing in their way trying to take pictures or filming! I kept screaming “MOVE the f- out the way!!”😆😆
Don't blame this guy every other amateur videographer kept getting in his way. Couldn't you tell he kept attempting to get good angles???? Look again. He adjusted over and over, your criticism is aimed at the wrong one.
While I like the routines the DMs continue to come up with I and I bet a lot of other alumni would love it if they dropped the side step thing and stuck to the old marching style when moving forward.
From a East Coast perspective the sidestep says it all. You're so be use excellence be it seems boring. Spice adds flavor!!! Great job music staff and students!!!!

@@crescendo728 just very used to the old marching style. If you saw the DMs come out of a tunnel or over a hill the marching style said whatever was coming behind them meant business. Not knocking the younger generation. I just think they're missing out on something that was very impactful and not realizing how extremely unique the style was. It was a signature of the band. They still use it but not to the same extent or impact.
@@msgreen512 it’s a matter of fact. A band should have 1 drum major every 50 musicians. Unless this band has 300 instrument, it is to many drum majors.

PV is my favorite marching band to watch🔥🔥🔥
Simply crazy how so many people wait till the last second to get out of the way!
Right. I know they're excited and wanna get the best footage but they need their space

@@serayahfaith5109 exacty we used to have a non-band member rule. No media or fans were allowed to break our ranks because of this reason
Prarie View -- y'all baddass all the way around . Them percussionists!!! Them Drum Majors ! The whole band. ^5😎😎😎. I ❤️ the DM's in white !!
@WesGriffin. I totally agree with you.
The leading Drum Major was actually a drummer himself last year,
Outstanding band. NOTE: Photographers/videograhers should not be allowed to interfere with the band when they leave the stadium.

I will not call it outstanding. It's too sick
