Me and my family were there today. Both marching bands did a great job; although, I'd give Grambling the "W." Hearing music from Ashanti brought my wife and I back to our teenage years! Good times!

HBCU Band especially these two bands are explosive for start to the finish of their performances. Even their entrances and exits are like performances. The dancing girls are wonderfully and beautifully made by God himself.

Whoever the young man is that is the #1 tenor drum is always lit! My wife and I noticed that when they marched back to the band room after the UIW game. If everyone in the band had his appreciation and affection for the band, that band would be dominant HBCU or not. I remember playing in this game when Eddie Robinson was coaching and it was not pretty for us in the 90's but nevertheless, that Cotton Bowl game was always a good memory.
That was AWESOME
These are the most entertaining drum majors to watch marching in contrast to like Alabama State where it is like watch paint dry.
This band's dedication to their craft is unmatched. I thoroughly enjoy watching the playbacks. However I have one request can you keep show the tuba section in not cut the video short when their section comes up?

Note time 8:21, the girl with the thick natural reddish brown curly hair, glasses, black shirt, pink back pack [security Man in red shirt tries to pull her back and she yells "get off me"] is screaming before the marching girls turn the corner [She yells, "Tiffany go home"]. Then she runs around like she's trying to take pictures as crazy and bizarre as ever, just a horrible display. Love the marching band and girls, wonderful performance.

USA HBCU marching in
Historical Black Colleges and Universities
This is Prairie View A and M University Marching band [which is in the Northern part of Texas]. The city they are marching in is Dallas, TX [which can be very dangerous because some of the people can act nice at first but are dangerous at heart]. Prairie View is one of my favorite marching bands.

Why do the dance teams have all the skinny girls and the color guard is all the bigger girls. I’ve seen this in a lot of videos I’ve watched of different bands. Feels wrong to me it should be inclusive. Good show though.

Whole different style.. technicality isn’t the main focus; especially during a march-in. Most collegiate lines don’t come close to a corps because they don’t dedicate their entire life to music for a specific period of time, these are college students first. Plus a lot of PVs members march in corps so
