Honestly man you know how to live life you inspired me to get my ass off the couch and go out doors and do what you do I love ya brother keep living life to the fullest! Also I hope your foot is doing alright please be careful!!
His foots fkd by the way he never had the surgery he was supposed to because it's gonna put him out of commission for 6+Months it hurts him every hiking/survival Video 🙌🏽💀
Same. I've had a bunch of bad news in my family + some personal struggles lately. Most days I haven't even gotten out of the bed this past month. But watching this dude just inspired me to start taking charge again. Today I did some minor renovations in my kitchen. Tomorrow I'm going to the gym. Excited to start getting out in nature soon.
Smiled when I heard the notification. Matt's positivity and attitude really cheer me up. I never get tired of this channel or it's content. I'm about to shake the like-buttons hand.
The rooftop tent is a mint setup and I'm glad you covered the point that it does make the troopy flex more. Love the channel mate keep up the mad adventures👍
The wobble may be something as simple as a bent axle. Had a similar issue in one of my vehicles several years ago. Nobody could figure it out including the dealership. It became really bad on a road trip down to Florida. A seasoned mechanic diagnosed it immediately. Easy fix. Problem solved. Btw, absolutely love your channel. Living life how it's meant to be lived!
It's usually a strut bar that causes the death wobble. Jeeps are known for that death wobble too, and they make an aftermarket strut bar to fix that. May be something to look into bud!
Brotha. Your roof bed. At 34:30 you said it’s rubbing that metal lip and eating away the metal. Put a strip of magnet there that has adhesive on the back. Stick the adhesive side to the metal lip and the fold down bed bars will attach to the magnet part and not only will it protect the metal but it will stop it from moving as much.
Hi dear friend. I am an Iranian. I bought a 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser 75 Series and restored it ready to go. I use your experiences and videos. Thank you
Death wobble could mean you should upgrade your steering shock / stabilizer. If all parts are in good shape and occurs intermittently. Was a common issue with pickups when they got lifted or the steering geometry changed.
This is the ultimate Troopy set up, so much thought into this build.....one day I can only dream to own one like this....come on Lotto...LOL 🤑😀. Always looking forward to your next adventure. Much love 💥🤙
I am a fan, good outdoor channel, very knowledgeable and helpful, thank you. I can suggest you can further secure your roof conversion from moving, bending with offroading, by hooking up two heavy duty strap down on the top roof. This may help to prevent the two clips from prematurely breaking off due to the flexing, bending with offroading trails. Keep up the good work friend
Hey Top Dawg!, You're vehicle's got it going on! Now that's Fully Loaded! For Sure ya not lacking anything! Excellent! Well now, with that Rig..., you could Survive Anything! 🤔😉✌❤😁🙏🤗
Hey mate, idk if you're comfortable showing your house off or not, but I and I'm sure others would love to see a home tour All the best Matt and maky, love from your mate from the Gold Coast
Hey dawgies. Love the vids. Check the steering rack and power steering pump if ur getting death wobbles. Was a common fault in holdens but not too sure with troopers. Much love
That is sweet. Your death wobble sounds like the sway bar bushings and the stabilizer bars. My Toyota did that, I put new bushings in the sway bar and changed out the stabilizer bars and it hasn't done it since. Hope that helps.
What a brilliant build! Thank you for going through that with all of us. I didn't even know all those options were available, gives me something to strive for!❤✌🤙
Mate im adhd, cant sit still, never stay anywhere more than one night. Bought myself a bush company xtmax 270 awning. Freaking fast and easy to put away. No poles. Epic. Thought id put it out there for ya buddy 🤘
i used to install car stereos and if you want more sound closer just get a pair of splits, where the tweeter is up faced toward listener and separate from the woofer up on the dash or interior mirror covers/triangle trim, , the design of split mids/woofer make them a lot more bass heavy than coax designs too along with a proper crossover which also increases sound quality and bass! i think its a win win in your case, since cost will be about the same as extra speakers for the most part! and sound quality much better than extra speakers out of phase fighting each other, where as with split tweeters running off the same signal the sound merges a lot nicer in a small space, not to mention much cleaner look! Sounds from mids or lows will travel in all directions where as sound from tweeters are very directional, having tweeter in cars down there in the door cards is terrible for sound, hence why most car companies use splits now!
The death wobbles are probably the swivel hub Shims are a little bit lose on the fount diff or the brake discs warped when applying your foot on the brake The nissan patrol does the same thing Cheers bro
Don’t see many of them. Last of the V8’s. The Road warrior , they call him MAT. Sorry been bingeing on mad max over last few nights. You just need a couple of big tanks stashed in the bush. One filled with Gazzoline one with Woada. 👍🖖🍺
When i had Death wobbles it was the Rotors needed to be replaced I did a lot of other things but after I replaced it zero issues what so ever :) hope it helps keep up the good content.
Death wobble its because of over size tires ... so if you using over size tires than original size you have to increase the stearing nuckle preload by redusing thickness of stearing nuckle adjesting shim. Otherwise if you using bigger weels without adjesting preload death wobble occur.
Looks like you have a lift kit? Whoever fitted it should have put a caster correction kit in the radius arms on the front diff, this should help the wobble, and as others have said a bigger steering damper, just stay away from the ones with the springs on them as the will kill your steering joints. As always great video mate 👌
if you get a car battery charger that plugs into the wall you should be able to hook up the engines battery to the solar battery and get charged enough off that to get moving again. Just a thought i could be wrong but worth a look into
This has been the most informative video you have made. Every square inch of space has been used which I find is the way it should be. You didn't hint at the price all up. How much in total ? Though I suppose it's all tax deductible and I'm not knocking that because it's your work. I'm going to watch this a few times. Super.
Put the new speakers on the left and right side of you. That way the sound waves are blasting right in your ear. Above the head won't be as good. Especially the left speaker.
As for the death wobble. Do you have balance beads in the tires? If not they could potentially help if the tires are part of the problem. Steering stabilizers if available are most likely to help.
With your flat battery just get your self a battery charger that you can plug into the red arc system or get a charging system that you can hook up to the solar permenantly
A solution for your water spout you should attach a fitting with a short hose and a sprayer nozzle it'll work cuz gravity 😀 but it'll stop the nose from being wiggled around and loosened just be creative
I'd love to see some build vids. Like building the chicken coop you mentioned. Also would like to see some inland stuff, maybe show us some of the lizards and turtles around, that'd be cool.
amazing build 👍 for your front battery you could get a booster just in case you go flat in middle of nowhere to be able to restart the car without issue cheers
great info im glad i watched Ur video i was looking @ a troopy & a roof conversion instead of towing a 2.3 T caravan with my ranger with GVM upgrade around Oz but i spend most of my time on tarmac it sounds like its not for me comfort wise & issues with the roof conversion. thanks
I could have sworn you had an awning on that thing at one point and did a whole video about it. You should get new seats that swivel around to give you a little bit more lounging area on the inside. You know, just in case you need to hunker down and wait for another snake to leave.
Dream rig. Wondering, what is your tare weight and GVM on your troopy? With all that, fitted into the car, you'd obviously had to have a GVM upgrade; suspension, lift kit and what not.
Ain't gonna lie...when he showed the 60 liter tank, used for showers...Mac10 shot to mind! You lucky bastard you! Outside showering has go to be...stimulating to the senses.
this video was awesome. makes me want one bad!! you should check into steering stabilizer/sway bar for the front of this heavy girl. Not sure if that's a thing but might be able to fix your death wobbles if you can find something.
Up the troopey, I hired one 2018 model few years back...... Like u said bit shit on road, but f me when it's in the wild( fowler's bay SA sand dunes) look out, absolutely an amazing rigg... Love all your videos bro
Amazing Rig. Just curiouse. Why isn't the drinking water safe in the vehicle behind the passengers seat and the washing water outside exposed. The drinking water is really exposed to dust and damage and that goes in your body. And the shower water that just goes in the skin is well protected in the car from dust and that.
What if you take those two clips on the alucab off and put just one kick ass clip in the centre then the flexing of the vehicle mite not put as much strain on the clip ,just a thought.
Great videos! Thoughts on radio power. Power it from the house batteries or put a switch in so you can choose which battery you get power from. Or maybe a heavy duty relay to jump engine battery from house batteries.
Just curious… where could I go to get this exact rig- or even something similar? It perfectly suits what I want, and hope someone can tell me where I could get all of this, weather it’s one place or multiple places. Awesome build though, dude, and you’ve inspired me to go outside and do fishing more, so just wanted to say thanks for that.
You have it all my man and to find a Lady that enjoys the same thing you do in Life Yes I'll say it (ITS A GAME CHANGER) enjoyed the video a lot 👍 but also glade you slowed down some on your foot 👍🙏
Awsome Build 🙌🏽 My Truck Had The "Death wobbles" at 25-35mph so bad My Girl friend at the time bumped her head on the ceiling 😂😂 o how I miss my Boggers
The absolute dream rig mate, can’t wait to have my own. Killer video as always bro 🤘🏼
Honestly man you know how to live life you inspired me to get my ass off the couch and go out doors and do what you do I love ya brother keep living life to the fullest! Also I hope your foot is doing alright please be careful!!
I hear that. I feel the same, kinda puts things into perspective?
I should do more, but "should" doesn't cut it. Happy trails.
His foots fkd by the way he never had the surgery he was supposed to because it's gonna put him out of commission for 6+Months it hurts him every hiking/survival Video 🙌🏽💀
@@Rockhead81 ok
@@spirritt that sounded like I was hating on him... not at all I was just letting ya know what he's told us 💪🏽💯

For the death wobble check the rubber bushings on the bar going from the front axle to the frame.
Smiled when I heard the notification. Matt's positivity and attitude really cheer me up. I never get tired of this channel or it's content.

As someone who loves to explore the outdoors with my rig...this video is awesome! Hopefully we can see more 4x4 action.
Your vibes and energy is good for the soul mate! I love your videos dawgie keep up the hard work!!
Hi dear friend. I am an Iranian. I bought a 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser 75 Series and restored it ready to go. I use your experiences and videos. Thank you
Good morning from Florida. Death wobble usually is caused by a weak steering stabilizer shock. Super easy to replace .
Death wobble could mean you should upgrade your steering shock / stabilizer. If all parts are in good shape and occurs intermittently. Was a common issue with pickups when they got lifted or the steering geometry changed.
Matt, you are a weapon.. appreciate what you're doing im a Qldnr but live in WA you are a "Game changer" thanks for all the content
The Troopy is dope 🤙🏻
I’m at the beginning of adding extras to my new Harley and like you said “Buy it once Buy it right”
Never go cheap dawgies
This is the ultimate Troopy set up, so much thought into this build.....one day I can only dream to own one like this....come on Lotto...LOL 🤑😀. Always looking forward to your next adventure. Much love 💥🤙

Thank you for that dawgy. Best troopy build ever
What a brilliant build! Thank you for going through that with all of us. I didn't even know all those options were available, gives me something to strive for!❤✌🤙
damn that thing is ready to rock.. nice whip. your ability to keep peoples attention is incredible.
Not even the billionaires can import these into the USA! Stoked for the review 🙏💯
I can see why he was so hyped when he first got the car . Damn thats good stuff

Look forward to more troopy vids. 👍 Keep 'em coming guys. Wanna see more boat overnighters and boat cooking vids too.👍
Bro get separates 6.5 mids & tweets and a small amplifier and your sound quality will be better & louder volume also placement is everything
i used to install car stereos and if you want more sound closer just get a pair of splits, where the tweeter is up faced toward listener and separate from the woofer up on the dash or interior mirror covers/triangle trim, , the design of split mids/woofer make them a lot more bass heavy than coax designs too along with a proper crossover which also increases sound quality and bass! i think its a win win in your case, since cost will be about the same as extra speakers for the most part! and sound quality much better than extra speakers out of phase fighting each other, where as with split tweeters running off the same signal the sound merges a lot nicer in a small space, not to mention much cleaner look! keep going

The nissan patrol does the same thing
Cheers bro
You should go and buy a jump pack for a backup, about 80 bucks from kogan and you'll never stress again and they are nice and compact
Bro you’ve done a better car review then actual car review channels lol!!! Sick video !!!

Bro....Get some SPRING LOADED CLAMPS, they will help with the flexibility and quit breaking on you. Just a suggestion.

That’s how it should be done always organised Love the Troopi.
OP build dawgie! The steering wheel is on the wrong side tho!! 😮
if you get a car battery charger that plugs into the wall you should be able to hook up the engines battery to the solar battery and get charged enough off that to get moving again. Just a thought i could be wrong but worth a look into
This has been the most informative video you have made. Every square inch of space has been used which I find is the way it should be.

I'm going to watch this a few times.
Super.
Thank you. Do you mean the word " ONLY " ? to claim my prize.
I have never won a prize before so don't know what's required.
Only thing I can think of is what exhaust system do you have to make it sound incredibly good
My favourite RUclipsr 🎉🎉🎉
Love ya work Matt
Put the new speakers on the left and right side of you. That way the sound waves are blasting right in your ear. Above the head won't be as good. Especially the left speaker.

This video is a game changer.
With your flat battery just get your self a battery charger that you can plug into the red arc system or get a charging system that you can hook up to the solar permenantly
Absolutely love the vehicle mate. Me I'm concerned about wildlife, bigfoot bear's and skunks, and sharks. Carry on.
And we can’t forget about Mac 10 she is awesome!
Death wobble. Check your front trailing arm rear bushes. They are known for splitting and giving you the death wobble and upgrade to Polly bushes
Also see if you can add a steering dampener to the steering box 👍🏻
A solution for your water spout you should attach a fitting with a short hose and a sprayer nozzle it'll work cuz gravity 😀 but it'll stop the nose from being wiggled around and loosened just be creative
The death wobble is in the suspension..tie rods steering stabilizer stuff like that. Hope that helps doggy
Check your track bar and tie rods and I would probably go ahead and check wheel bearings one of those things could possibly fix your death wobble
Loved this show ep! Looking forward to the next
Sorry if you covered it in the video and I didn’t see. Where did you get your rooftop tent?
The death wobble is usually the steering damper, (the shock on the steering system) very comman issue on jeeps and 2500 series trucks mate
I'd love to see some build vids. Like building the chicken coop you mentioned. Also would like to see some inland stuff, maybe show us some of the lizards and turtles around, that'd be cool.
Would love to see Matt and Matthew machony go on a adventure together, you just got to keep living man!
add a strip of foam or rubber so that rail doesn't get chewed any further! :) Nice rig!
amazing build 👍
for your front battery you could get a booster just in case you go flat in middle of nowhere to be able to restart the car without issue
cheers

Awesome video! It's your caster shims for the death wobble problem! Can't wait to see Australia soon... your videos have are awesome!
So sick! The dream rig, wish we could have these in Canada
Bro I been waiting for the video to drop

How much did it all cost? That wasnt covered.
I'm a simple man. I see Matt, I click Like.
1:41 I want the footage of that!!! Winch + swag + tree?! 😂
That's an incredible rig, mate.

Thanks for the video…looks like a awesome setup…stay safe !!

Mornin’ Dawgies!
Thank you for the video. I hope more are coming
Death wobble… check your axle bushings. Worn or cracked bushings will cause that
YEA DAWGIESSSS MUCH LOVE ❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Brilliant video many thanks, stay safe ...

yassss another video, im so excited
I love mat he inspires me to do this in uk
Matt!! Maybe rubber ball locks will work better than metal clips.
Fantastic vid. It's a shame Pro Camp Solutions is now out of business.
Before you get new speakers get a wind deflector.
i love the new counter on the videos!! makes me laugh every time
You have it all my man and to find a Lady that enjoys the same thing you do in Life
