Who in their right minds would give this a thumbs down. You’re truly gifted musician. I play this piece as well but not nearly as clean or dynamically as u do.
The best performance I've ever heard. It's not just staccato. The notes played sometimes staccato and sometimes normally in the left hand, all consciously studied and add a lot of beauty. It's obvious that attention to detail is...
@@branislavvartik5032 I have come to appreciate this performance more and more. And/or letting go of the...uhm.. 'familiarity'(? I can't think of the correct word) of the above linked version, which has been imprinted in my ears for some years now. I now do not listen to the differences in performance. So good to just listen instead of (unconsciously) analyzing a performance. Okay, now I will try the same with a Fugue! 😁😁 edit: I am back at favoring the above linked version. 😒 It's like a drug. I was fine and now I've fallen back into the habit.
This piece I feel really shows Bach at his most "German"! An unstoppable machine: switch it on and watch it go. Great technique I don't know if you are loving those major sequences as much as me though.
Sounds like Nazi Germany, the intention was never to sound like a Frankenstein robot lol. It’s suppose to be more human emotions rather. Although, I get what you mean.
0:05 liked. If you start like that, then this MUST undoubtedly be a good execution. The attacco was perfect and reminds me of the times I used to concentrate on this little things and be happy when they came out the way I liked.
I love this performance, and I love watching you play. Your passion and intense feeling for every phrase and note shines through. Wonderful, wonderful stuff.
Wow excellent playing well done - you seem to love those moments in the major modulations just like myself. It is such an incredible piece of work, this two-part composition. That twang on the piano's middle G is unfortunate.
Tremendous! I've always felt this is a joyful piece of music in spite of being predominantly in a minor tonality. You really bring the fire and warmth out of it.
Marcin Dabrowski is comparable to Alicia de Llarocha and Carlos Garcia in this recording! The upright Scholze piano sounds simply great. Why is it that I have not heard of Marcin and his Scholze before?
@@anthonym4282 Who's learning this in a few weeks??? Wow. This was a major challenge for me, but I learned it in 6 months. Keep in mind, my practice was on and off, but still, it was a lot to process. Thankfully though, I feel like a much stronger pianist
@@anthonym4282 Haha I guess anything's possible. If anyone here learned this in a few weeks, good on you lol. 2:52 he made a hand shake with bach and bach smiled back at him..

I like this one too.. eventhough I am used to this one, by Ivo Pogorelich ruclips.net/video/5PC0FrLlO5E/видео.html What do you think? Just curious.
@@macmanmanny3983 Personally, I like both, each performance has a distinct flavor of this masterpiece

BACH and his incredible music will be revered forever. To think that he composed this more than 300 years ago?? freaking amazing!

This prelude is actually in the style of an Italian concerto grosso, you fools.

Clean, beautiful playing. Thank you very much!
This is beautiful. Every note is crystal clear, yet the tempo perfect (for me this piece should be played rather fast).
Excellent. There's something directly from Glenn Gould in this sound.
Agreed
You play this veeery well

Beautiful, driven performance. I love your sound quality and depth...
best performance ever 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
Just one word: Excellent!
Bravo Marcin, a magnificent performance. I love this way of playing the rythmic Bach: it reminds Gould's style.
Bravo, it is a magnificent performance.
Fantastic home recording - very clear and "Bachlike". I enjoyed the way you seemed to bring out the major sections for contrast. Congratulations.
I know this piece extremely well and you Marcin play it with absolute perfection!!!
Really perfectly and very beautifully played.

Just perfection, Wow.
Congratulations !! It's wonderful! I try to play French suites and I often listen to Sviatoslav Richter's English Suites. Yours is brilliant!
02:52 loved your left hand gesture in melody transition.
Nicely Done Bro :)
Very good. Bravo
Man, your way and demeanour of playing totally reminds of Gould! Well done, excellent playing!!
MinervaMo - true, he also sits fairly low to the piano just as Gould did.
I'm currently learning this one on accordion and I love it
Absolutely wonderful.

To jest pianino w wyjętymi przednimi ścianami, aby uzyskać bardziej bezpośredni dźwięk.
