He was all she talked about for weeks... it was a few years later that i obtained Live At Leeds, Meaty Beaty Big & Bouncy, and The Who Sell Out... then l understood completely what all her fuss was about. I'm now re-reading Tony Fletcher's "Moon." Probably the best book l have ever read.

Of course, his comical side comes out at the end as they board the bus. I remember an interview with Chris Stamp where there was a meeting at Shepperton to fire him as their manager, one of the reasons given was he wasn't bringing the band enough opportunities and investments....ahem.....does Shepperton not count as one of their best investments ever ?

I love The Who and Keith Moon but there is truth that he was very unwell in 1977-78 due to severe alcoholism.
